This suggestions are gonna kill Greg one of these days... and made Alb gain some weight.
You saw the [/sarcasm]-Tag, or?
Also why should i kill myself with laughing about that stupid Suggestion? ![]()

I already can make iron out of tin using only RP and IC, and a few other things that I'm not allow to say.
You mean Bronze to Iron using Rails?
First off: Do not try to use decompiled IC²-Code, use the API, its more than enough for that purpose.
If you know how to make a normal TileEntity (like a Furnace), then you can just implement the needed Stuff, the Comments in the API are very helpfull.
Tutorials are pretty much nonexistent, as not much people Code stuff and release its Source.
I'm actually trying to figure out myself, how the BlockMultiID works, to code my own better Version of it. (without the BukkitTextureBug inside it. Yes you heared right the Bug is there!)
So my wheat farm could actually mine a hole in the glass of my underwater base?
Yes, things like that can happen. (only if its in the "startup"-File!)
I would recommend you to use local Variables (Syntax: local x = 0) instead of normal Variables, because locals will get saved on restart.
EDIT: Frakkin' quotes!
Use "insert Quotation" instead of "Insert Quotes"
BTW, why don't we have an own tutorial section, instead of support and general discussion?
We have. Its a Subsection of the Industrial-Engineering-Subsection.
One question: If I restart my server, will my systems (Computers and turtles) stop their current programs, restart or just shut down?
It will just restart the whole device using the "startup"-File (only if it was ON before). I use that Function as Chunkloaddetector for my CASUC-Coolantsystem (see Maintutorial in my Signature).
Replace the Ejector with a Relay and remove its Timer, if you set the Itemdetector to pulse for every single Item (its the Defaultoption), then you dont need that.
The Transposers are causing also Lag, use Filters and a very slow Timer (60 secs are enough)
And the Lag of the Blockbreakers depends just on their Timer, but generally, the more Blockbreakers and the slower the Timer, the better.
Also i would recommend you, to use MISEL mkII. To make this setup into one, you just have to switch the Itemdetectormode to Stuffed (the one with the Cross), and then just place a Redstonetorch ontop of the Itemdetector. And finally remove all the Circurity you just saved.
Hmm, so I would need another 2 frame motors to move the head up & down?
Left and Right is better because of Gravel. But yes you have to move the Head.
I am new to IC. Looking at a list of good reactor designs I am wondering why there are designs with a short running time, because it seems their effective eu/t and efficiency are not a lot higher (and sometimes even lower) than with an infinite cycle. So what am I missing?
Well, the more Effective a Reactor is, the more Heat it produces, and so you have to shut it OFF, before it explodes.
But the most Efficient is my 1840EU/t-Waterbucket-CASUC (Infinitecycles)
it would add a lightning rod that (when a storn occurs) draws lightning to it. If the lightning hits it, then it sends 100 EU to your mfsu. Any energy holder less than an MFSU will explode!
I GOT A BRILLIANT IDEA!!! AN ADDON FOR ALL THE STUPID AND RIDICULOUS SUGGESTIONS!!! AND I WILL BEGIN WITH THE LIGHTNINGROD!!! [/sarcasm]
When you have to move large amounts of Scrap, from one Point to another, what do you do? Making it to Scrapboxes to save space. But then you are not able to use it in the Massfab! So, why are Scrapboxes not a valid Amplifier for the Massfab? I mean, just the addition of it as Amplifier would've been logical for me as it consists out of 9 Scrap.
I didnt want to go with that into the Suggestionsection, due to it being just a Question.
In my experience, it knows when multiple tabs are open, so pauses their countdown timer.
It just knows, when someone is accessing the Page multiple Times, with the same IP.
You're all paranoid, custom rendering does not cause that much lag, OR memory use - unless the developer messes it up somehow.
Lets see, which mods are causing Lag, due to custom Rendering:
Redpower: Yes but only, because you normally have to use masses of Microblocks in a Factory.
Thaumcraft: Massive Lag with only a few Machines and small general Lag from Taintblocks and eldritch Stone. (because of too many Specialeffects)
IC²: Cables are causing also a little bit Lag.
BC: Tiny Lag for normal Pipes, little Lag for Waterproof and Conductive Pipes.
So and you are telling me, that this Lag comes from Eloraam, Spacetoad, Alblaka and Azanor messing it up??? I doubt that this happened.
Of course Rendering does nearly nothing to the Memory, it just slows FPS down. Memoryissues are coming to 99% from Chunk-Unloading (fixed in 1.3), and not from the Graphics.
Sidenote: I cant even enter my Workshop/Factory without having Optifine installed!!!
What I mean by bottlenecking is that the retriever will pull items from the closest inventory, which (unless you do some careful machine placement and pipe routing) means that there will be one machine which is closer than the others and as such will always be the priority target. Assuming that the machines finish one operation in a comparable timescale to the retriever pulse, the retriever will pull an item stack from one machine, which processes something and has more inventory just in time for the retriever to pull another item stack - meaning that the other machines get ignored. The item detector might help with this by accelerating item removal, but it feels to me like a stopgap solution.
Then again, I don't know what kind of workload your machines are given.
The Retriever is right next to the Alloyfurnace and the 4 Recyclers (And they are the fastest), and even when nearly all Machines are used, the ItemDetector right behind (with RedstoneTube inbetween) my Retriever is completely enough to speed the Timing up for the 6 E-Furnaces and the Canningmachine (which are farest away). Of course I'm not using Overclockers, because they are Energywasters and with the Relays i have enough Buffering for all the Ores.
The other Machines are: 1 Massfabricator (MISEL mk II), 6 Macerators, 3 Extractors and 3 Compressors, where one of these Compressors is especially for producing Netherbrick out of 3 Netherrack.
Bukkit? It could be the Problem.
In SSP the Massfab runs correctly without additional Drain, when shut off.
Physical size of the farm itself should not be a problem since I'm going to recreate this waaaay out in the distance out of view from the city anyway.
Physical size was one of my Problems, so i ordered a smaller Design from him via PM.
His compact Design fits perfectly in one Chunk, what is needed for the GregTower 2, which is in exactly one Chunk (+18x18 Outer Wall in the surrounding Chunks).
