Every cable you make lets you transfer energy over one block. This is obviously
very overpowered, because it lets you move energy from one block to another with ZERO ongoing costs!
Even the setup cost is very small for a short distance!
Remember before cables, when we had to use batteries for everything? That was much better.Given that cables once didn't exist, obviously we can live without them.
One should have to WORK for his energy transfer, not just get it for free! This is obviously a
nightmare for server admins, because they have to patrol the entire world looking for
no-good players who just want to transfer power for free! It takes less than an hour from starting
a new world to getting your first cables, and then you can make them so quickly it's not funny!Given the above problems, the solution is almost as obvious as the problems themselves.
I suggest that cables should require cable-juice, a purple conductive liquid that evaporates as a cable is used.
Very expensive to craft, of course, because we don't want just anyone to be able to transfer power.
Every drop of cable juice must be precious, so clearly the recipe involves iridium.You might think iridium would be too expensive for this, but no. It must be very expensive to transfer power,
or players would just use cables everywhere! For this I suggest that one iridium ore (which normally costs 7
UUM) should extract to 7 pieces of cable juice. Each piece repairs a cable, allowing just 32 EU to flow through it
before it breaks again.Unfortunately, this makes it very expensive to run a mass fab or terraformer, as they have no battery slots. Oh well.

I thought of another challenge,1. Given an infinite amount of uu-matter and a crafting table to start, is it possible to make a factory without any other resources? That means no mining, no hunting, etc. You are allowed to break blocks that you made from matter. E.g. if you get stone from uu-matter and have a pickaxe you can place the stone to break it with the pickaxe to get cobblestone.
2. Same as 1 but the matter you take is a loan, what is the shortest amount of time it would take to pay it back? E.g. if it takes you 1000 uu-matter to get started to be self sufficent, you need to make 1000 uu-matter to pay your debt.
3. Similar to 2 but what is the smallest amount of uu-matter you need to borrow to be able to pay it back?
The Challange:
There is a bank that loans uu-matter like 2, but for every minecraft day they charge interest. Lets say 5% for now. If you start with a loan of 1000 uu-matter, can you ever profit i.e. make more uu-matter than you owe? Don't forget, after the first day you owe 1050 uu-matter, second day 1102.5, then 1157.6, then 1215.5, then 1276.3, 1340.1...Just some ideas I had,

Intressting. I'm normally taking a Massfabricator, a Generator and a Recycler into a Superflat World.
So, what I suggest is a machine wich could make up to 3 process in one time (for example, macerating, then burning 2 time for having refined Iron from Iron Ore) Of course, because it allow you to do it speedly without a complicated system with RP2/BC, it would be expensive and high EU-consuming.

The Visconduits are ther for transferring Vis, Taint just stucks in these Pipes if there is no constant and fast enough Consumer for Taint. Thats why i'm placing the Crucible, the Dark Infuser and the Visfilters adjacent to the same Tank, for preventing that.
Your Sheepfarm is not completely Chunkloaded.
You should build a Wisptrap (Will not only kill Wisps), with the Air/Dark/Air-seal facing upwards (sucks Mobs in a wide Area), the Fire-Seal (Flamethrower lvl 1) next to it, facing upwards too , a Transposer and a 30sec-Timer (To suck up the Stuff).
The Mystcraft-Corruption is not affecting floating Structures, so build your Nexus in a floating Building just in case.
IC², RP and BC are maybe NOT updating to 1.3 (no promised Mod-API), so please wait for the next update of the Mods, before ending the Season too soon.
Or just put into adjacent Chest (or just spit out if there is none). Oh moment its already denied.

You mean like Overcharging Lapotrons, to let them not storing Energy properly => Discharge. Thats a good way to defend against Quantumfighters or other Electricarmor-Users. It should also discharge the Lappack, so that their Nanosabers and Mininglasers are quickly discharded, or even anything Electrical they are carry with them. And if you dont come with a Tesla-Coil-Frame-Ship (TCFS), then these are stationary and so not really usable as offensive Weapon.
Sidenote:
But the best way to make the "Nerf ze Wantumzuit"-Noobs silent, would still be a config to disable only the QSuit-Chestplate (the remaining three Parts alone, are not making you invincible).

Recipe: No idea except it should be rather basic - possibly wood instead of based off a machine block.
How do you want to check that large body of Water lagfree? Also it would be exploitable, with more than one Fisher around the same Body of Water.
Name: Iron Fishing Pole and Electric Fishing Pole
Description: The Iron Fishing Pole has a recipe much like the ordinary fishing pole except it uses iron bars instead of sticks. Lasts longer and possibly fishes faster. The electric fishing pole is crafted like many electric tools, with a battery, circuit, and Iron Fishing Pole; it uses energy instead of durability, and possibly fishes even faster.

The Recipe is the most intressting of all. Its just, put random Stuff together and FISH. That remembers me on 2+2=Fish.
If a fish would be an actual Mob in Vanilla-MC, i would see a chance of the Fisher to be implemented into IC². But i guess Jeb will not make it.
