yes it is for noobs soo recycle itfun fact: a plain vanilla set of diamond armor absorbs 80% of damage but can be enchanted with cool features like breathing under water and lava proofing am i the only one who realizes that you need a nano suit to craft a quantum suit?

1. better/cheaper than diamond armor in terms of how well it protects you and how many diamonds you spend
2. rechargeable which means it never breaks
3. nano armor is is an ingredient in quantum suit recipes
4. with a diamond factory you can make replacement armor entirely out of common coal, redstone, and bricks/obsidian/ironblocks
p.s. on the other hand nano sure looks spiffy -
so the harm is that their presence turns you into a flame happy rant-demon? if you ask me that sounds like a personal problem

DEFINITELY NOT! engineering should be the second to last place any limit even a click wall should be put in place(the last place being the support subforum) putting limits there will solve nothing and only make new people mad/annoyed. the reason this started was because in the very active suggestion sub-forum a load of crap threads can in theory suppress some good undiscovered threads but that isn't the case in engineering because its much slower paced and if there is anything vital in the engineering subforums it winds up stickied

i can say with the same degree of authority on the subject that this is not on the same level as reverse engineering blu-trisity and writing a crossover addon he doesn't need permission though eloraams blessing would be nice. also if he needs eloraams permission then so does Immibis's tube stuff mod a mod that that eloraam said her self doesn't need her permission.

We aren't trying to get rid of the tekkit users (Yet), we just want the server section to be fully devoted to IC2 Servers (Standalone or with a few extras mods) and not to Tekkit Servers which from what i gather are usually filled with way too many useless mods.
They also have their own forum where they can post the clusterfuckness they call tekkit servers so they should post them there, you don't see IC2 people posting their servers there right?
and maybe the MCforums should ban all ic2 servers we have our own forum after all right? also last i checked no major ic2 server ran vanilla or even bukkit vanilla ic2 and ic2 is usually paired with at least 2 other MAJOR modsi think measures to separate them better should at least be tried before we kick them out

I hope no one is being bothered by me hijacking the thread for my own idea.
Anyway, I was thinking that maybe when creating uranium cells they cell get a their own random stats such as how long they work, how much heat they generate, how much energy they produce per tick etc. Doing it this way we can still have the old reactors not blow up and also making "reactor-keeping" into something more interesting and active.it would make reactors impossible to plan out and as a result impractical to use

I dont want their Servers out here, I want them making their Servers in their own Forum, where they belong, since there is a Technicpackforum for this sake.
yes and then the next step is to direct all technic users support problems to the technic forums, and screenshots/videos to the technic forums, and then the engineering questions to the technic forums. before you know it there is no reason for them to come here at all. and then whats going to happen when the technic forums directs all ic2 discussion to the ic forums out of spite?we're basically being set up for a streisand effect. the efforts to suppress technic will only make it more visible and spread its popularity. who would want to join this forum if we have a rep for singling out and banning whole groups(whether its true or not)?
also side note: the way i discovered ic2 was through a technic pack mod spotlight(but i eventually decided to install conventionally)
