FenixR suggesting a radical mechanics change? well this is new

    i have a few gripes

first: with the unmovable with out blowing up block. blocks like personal safes are already abused to block passages and door ways and I can see this being used for that to

second: with this idea is it possible to speed run to a qsuit? cause the nerfers will totally throw a fit if that was the case

third: i think i missed something what the purpose of the new mass fab again? make a impenetrable fortress in a toxic wasteland? more efficient uum generation than the mass converter? general destruction and mayhem?

also would the natural uu-pools be of this new danger biome? and are the natural uu-pools found above ground, below, or both?

The same thing happened to me, except I did not have a minimap installed. I suppose we will wait this one out together. Want to start a campfire and hold hands in the meantime? I will bring marshmallows.

lets gather round the campfire and sing our campfire song our c-a-m-p-f-i-r-e-s-o-n-g song and if you think that we can't sing it faster then your wrong but it will help if you just sing along...

don't forget exposed wiring (its a rubber suit) and might do meltdown heat and other harm zones as well

well for those killing time waiting for their expensive games here is a free one to try out http://www.wcsaga.com/ its a space combat sim that is totally fan made and free with original compositions, voice acting, and decent writing. it looks gorgeousness on modern hardware and works on old hardware no problem.

p.s. you don't need a joy stick I beet it with a mouse

Name: machine controller module(mcm for short)

Description: machine controller module is a machine upgrade like transformers or overclockers. what it does is it gives the player greater control over the machines temperature and mechanical functions and there fore giving the player access to extra and alternate machine recipes the primary example is incubating chicken eggs.

[electro-furnace with mcm]+[egg]+[1eu/t for 60 sec]=[a 50/50 chance of getting either a baby chicken MinecraftChicken or a soft boiled egg good for 2 drumsticks on the food bar]

so there that's the primary idea to add an egg incubator without adding an extra dedicated machine for it. here are some totally optional extra uses for the machine controller module that i also thought of. they fall in to 2 categories "stuff already used for other stuff" and "stuff that the machines would be to dumb to pull off other wise"

    1.polyester:[extractor w/ mcm]+[sticky resin]=[4 string]
    2.quick refined iron:[electro-furnace w/ mcm]+[iron dust]+[overclock like behavior]=[refined iron]
    3.ice cream:[macerator w/ mcm]+[milk]=[ice cream (4 drumsticks?)]
    4.cobble free fertilizer:[compressor w/mcm]+[plantclump]=[fertilizer]
    5. more stew for all!:[compressor w/ mcm]+[any mushroom]=[bowl of mushroom stew(the bowl is made out of compressed mushroom fibers)]

p.s. for those who are to lazy to take the module out a redstone signal to the machine will disable it

recipe: not sure but should include an overclocker module

LOL, did you even read the suggestion? I have one and once you build it IC2 is pretty boring from that point on since it is the "End Game device". Regardless as I said before it is what it is.

OHHHH!! this explain a lot. ok lets start by saying don't force your masochist ways on the rest of us the are plenty of ways to make the game more challenging for your self with out nerfing the fun for the rest of us here are some ideas
    1. play EE (their end game tools require a lot more work)
    2. don't use a q-suit (then the challenge will never go away)
    3. take up gardening (can you cross breed all the plants? can you max out their stats?)
    4. install mods that add scarier mobs (mo' creatures, weeping angels, etc...)
    5. role play extra resource consumption by throwing items in lava for every 5 min of qsuit use
    6. play challenge maps (sky block, superflat, FTB)
    7. build some thing REALLY BIG! (we have 256 build height now after all)

what i mean is the vanilla carts are hard coded with a max speed of 8m/s and anything that could make them go faster is stored as momentum in our case this is the players sprint speed. meaning we don't need any special tricks
