exactly transporting energy crystals over pipes allows zero energy loss over unlimited distance they might have nerfed it (but then again I don't know you could actually be experiencing a bug)

glass can let the sunlight in and stop the heat from escaping but real life solar-ovens use mirrors for maximum efficiency and direct the light into what you want to cook(think a civilianized Archimedes death ray) and the best material we use in real life for that is polished silver backed glass

silver is also used in real life nuclear control rods slowing nuclear reactions

EDIT: silver is used in mirrors and optics your addon should use that (or some other quality unique to silver) as its primary feature other wise it will just look like a gold substitute.

first this is the support forum not the suggestion forum and while there is some wiggle room your pretty close to the line (i'll let alblaka decide if you have crossed it)

also alblaka likes to keep things simple and has already killed the idea of using btw style animations (or any animations really) so that is never going to happen and with out the animation there is no point to your death blocks either. if you want to kill stuff grab a nano saber you get better drops anyway(or set up tesla coils and exposed HV wire if you are lazy).

despite the raise in build height i don't think we are close to what can realistically be considered outerspace so i don't like the sweet spot idea either.

1st i was trying to change the subject
2nd its seem they were mad about the other machines no longer lining up with the induction furnace but they loved innovations like additive macerating (not saying this addon should copy the idea just using it as an example that this addon is not at a dead end)

I think the wind mill height requirement should stay the same the only people who would go up that high are the creative types and they would benefit from being able to hide their gens out of sight(some thing that is more and more possible the higher up you go). what i want to know is how is the build height going to effect crop air quality and jetpacks?

EDIT:hmmm combine scafolds and tin cables to make a new windmill tower block? conducts EU like tin and is easy to build up like a scaffolds even has built in ladder

electroized water cell is probably the closest we got (unless you put sugar in the water and waited. over time it will carbonate thanks to free floating yeast it will also turn into booze but it will be carbonated booze)

as for the wood chips when you put a bowl of soup in a canning machine the canning machines does not return your bowl so guess where the bowl is (hint: its in the can)

when you live in a flying industrial craft city the jetpack is basically the only ascetically pleasing way to cover that distance. alblaka please raise the electic jet packs flight ceiling

i use hover mode to explore underground caves, ravines, and abandoned mineshafts its allot easier to keep track of where you are if you don't have to pull multiple 360 spins to find your staircase or ladder. so yeah the jet pack isn't as useless as you think also you should try dynamite mining you can just swoop down and pick up the drops

i guess you could replace netherrack with dirt and dirt clod in all these suggestions its non-craftable short of scrapboxes and uum so it can't be abused like cobblestone

EDIT: assuming scrap drop on tool break is impossible that is

i mean burn it in a furnace and i only suggested netherrack cause it could give a reason to go to the nether

EDIT: or craft the netherrack into netherrocks and right click to throw like eggs with a chance that a piece of scrap pops out
