how do i find the error log?
Having never used tekkit, I'm not certain, is there something called ForgeModLoader-0 or something similar in your .minecraft folder?

hi i'm trying to get this to work with technic but i get as far as the mojang screen and then the screen goes white can anyone help?
First off, there is no guarantee this will work with Technic at all. Secondly, saying the screen goes white doesn't help anyone, we need error logs to find a problem.
EDIT: Ninja'd for the second time now, damnit DZCreeper, my average is getting ruined!
Considering the one common element in both cases, is it possible it is a Tekkit problem?
No Problem, my expensive Interdimensional-Storage-Unit will be able to transfer Energy Wirelessly and Crossdimensional (But you can only place one per Player).
I... I... Is there anything your addon will not be covering in the near future? I would suggest something like a craftable infinite energy generator, but I fear that would actually somehow make its way in as well.
It's already been reported and I think it is being looked into
Except, the players using the mod are technically the ones making the lights in game.
You'd think so, but no
On a totally semi off topic issue, i always find it stupid calling it exp, since exp is something you accumulate with the ages and stuff you do. A better name would be Vital essence or some shit since it makes a little more sense coming from killing and mining then wasting it all on enchantments. /Semi off topic.
This indeed probably belongs in off topic, but I do agree with you. While exp or xp is what is technically used in "levels", I hate the fantasy direction that minecraft keeps sliding towards, and naming it experience sounds so much like something in a fantasy kind of game, although what can you call it while not leading it this way when it is solely used in enchanting?
You could try taking the world folder out of the folder storing the server files, reinstalling the minecraft_server.jar and Forge universal, then putting the world folder in that new folder before starting the server.
You'd be surprised how quick to 30 you'll get (I'm guessing, btw) via just mining blocks left and right...
What are you going to use it on?
Quote"Hey dude, check out my SUPER BESTEST FLAME ASPECT, POWER V, SMITE V DIAMOND SWORD!!!" exclaimed Steve1 "Oh, that's pretty cool, I only have a nano-saber that kills pretty much everything in one hit." stated Steve2
-typical conversation if infinite XP farms are allowed.
Have you accounted for the Tier of Redwheat, as in are you crossbreeding plants other than Tulip, Cyazint, and Blackthorn?
So basically you want us to ignore an addon that has already been made because the missiles are small and have a "bad texture"? I'm going to have to go with a -1 here for the idea having pretty much been done already, also there's kind of another mod that does this and more already, here
after much searching I was unable to find such a list.
have you got a link?
There is no list, what he meant is that this was posted into a section filled with reports on all of these bugs already
If the world was vanilla, chunks that you have already been in/loaded will not have any IC2 or other mod ores in them
Yes, people that want to play on your server simply do the same thing you did, they take Forge Universal and put it in minecraft.jar, run it, and then drop the mods on the server into their mods folders.
See? this is where the cycle continues.
By that logic you will have two kinds of people in either the support or bugs section. There either would be the Y UNO UPDAET threads rampant in the support section if IC2 was released with proper and complete testing done. There would also be the Y UNO FIX DA BUGS people in the bugs section (like there already are) if IC2 is released without complete testing being done. So far I agree with this thread only in the way of additional beta testers and hotfixes every so often, other than those two I think this thread is demanding big things of the devs and either way there will be people dissatisfied with the (or lack of an) end product.
As of 1.3.2, mods are universal in that they can be used on both servers and clients, I'll try my best to make step by step instructions for a proper install.
1. Acquire minecraft server.jar
2. Place that in a folder, probably on your desktop
3. Open the server.jar in Winrar
4. Drop in the files from Forge Universal's latest version
5. Start the server
6. When the server is finished with installing the files to the folder close it
7. Drop the mods you want on the server into the newly created mods folder
8. Start the server
I hope this helps!
I like this idea
but seriously, it definitely has a lot of practical applications and I could personally see uses right now, also aren't you supposed to be like the lead nerfer of factories, which is pretty much what this suggestion will be used for?
Is it working now? On servers I have played on, when this problem happened, a simple restart was enough to make it work again for some reason
Is it possible there are conflicting block id's from other mods on the server?
How did you install it, and is it SSP or SMP?
