Gotcha, thanks.
Where do I find the object IDs? Are they in the server mod jar?
If by object ID you mean Item ID, it's in the config folder

Why should they have to do that, when it takes very little time and/or effort to simply say 'Can we have permission?'
This ^ this so hard. Seriously most modders are not exactly hard to contact with a small "Can we use your mod in a modpack?", why the hell do people go to such lengths to argue that this is infringing on their rights as a user?
Display MoreThank you for your input but mods don't really hold copyright even if copyright was acquired on a mod fair use would apply to mod packs. The following case establishes why a mod pack falls under fair
use:
Lewis Galoob Toys, Inc. v. Nintendo of America, Inc. 964 F.2d 965 (9th Cir. 1992).
When Nintendo pursued Game Genie for allowing players to
customize Nintendo games by editing code, the appellate court held that
“a party who distributes a copyrighted work cannot dictate how that work
is to be enjoyed. Consumers may use a Game Genie to enhance a
Nintendo Game cartridge’s audiovisual display in such a way as to make
the experience more enjoyable.”
This is a fun ruling for two reasons: 1) The owning party cannot
dictate how a work is enjoyed, as declared by the courts. 2) Mod packs
are certainly designed to make the experience of playing modded
Minecraft "more enjoyable" — and are thus fair use.
So I see you saw the recent cpw modder's rights argument (if no, that's one hell of a coincidence you referring to the same case)? And even after all he, Covert, and Flower said you still think user rights should come before modder's rights?
What exactly is hard to understand about the API?
Server no up? what up wit dat?
Same problem here
The correct planner version is here
And that states 216 EU/t, are you certain you didn't replace the plutonium with depleted isotope cells or something?
So he has been trying to hurt players from the very start and not try and let people play his mod?
I'm pretty sure he decided he didn't want to deal with Technic people, and therefore stopped them from using his mod. You're not the first to try and argue this, and I can guarantee you won't be the last, but I've seen pretty much every argument pertaining to this subject before.
But tekkit never put gregtech in their pack only some server ops did so it was hurtin the players not the mod pack makers.
No Tekkit people have ever used GregTech (or at least not ones that have not gone to the length of decompiling it) as the code stopping it from being run on Tekkit has been in from literally the very beginning.
It turned bees into exploding bees and destoryed people worlds, you know only a minor annoyance.
I was talking about IC2, not Forestry.
EDIT: Also the exploding bees weren't actually all that bad, I think they were slightly blown out of proportion by Technic.
Yes I am worried about modders putting in exploding bees or something similar.
I think you need to look into why that happened in the first place, Sengir got really pissed over an extended period of time. This doesn't corrupt worlds or anything, it's just a minor annoyance for not adhering to the simple policy of giving credit.
Will it be on the website when the "complete" one is up?
Actually... It looks like it already is
EDIT: Although it appears that the server is down
Where do i go to download?
I don't think anyone has a complete download yet, the OP of this thread has the links to all the mods (although the last one is broken).
Dean's right, I think you have to set the permissions for downloading from RapidShare or something.
Quotesufficient originality to warrant their own copyright protection separate from Mojang's ownership of Minecraft.
Right, because there is so much electricity in vanilla Minecraft? Why the hell would any mod developer waste their time going to court over a stupid thing like copyright protection, when it is generally assumed that nobody will steal/modify and make money off their work? Just because something is technically legal does not make it right.
It doesn't appear that IC2 is being recognized, did you put the 1.4.7 version in the mods folder?
I don't know if there is a fix for this problem, there used to be a problem exactly like this in single player and multiplayer, it was fixed when Forge got an update. MCPC+ is new right? No ports required? If so it's possible this is something that will be sorted out soon as people become aware of it.
Are you sure you remember correctly? I don't remember that ever happening
Guys, I think this guy is a troll, nobody is that stupid. A simple Google search of IC2 1.4.6 has the result on the first page, and IC2 1.4.7 has a link to the beta on the first page.
Yes, if IIRC, the cells won't electrolyze until the MFSU is above 3/4 full
