the reason you can't have a 'default' scanner cost is because i could take an item from another mod (i'll use the BC quarry as an example) and scan it, then have the replicator kick them out.

While we are on the topic of ideas, i'd like to make a few suggestions. most of these are targeted at ic2e:
Reinforced stone mold: currently the best way i have found for making reinforced stone is to set up a 3x3 iron scaffolding block and hit the center with the gun, which gives varied results. an alternative method that might be a bit more precise would be appreciated.
biofuel cells to coal: in the same manner that IC2 produces an industrial diamond, a piece of coal could probably be produced. Biofuel cells currently don't have a use in experimental, so this would give them a use again. i don't know if front-loading the chain like this would break the game in any way.

Never decide to play a game for a grade... it takes the fun out of it, especially when you have to go in excess of 30 versions back to make it all work.
Onward in folly!

Downloaded 'today' version of the mod. Version E. here is the crash-on-load.
IC2 2.1.457
forge 1.7.2-10.12.0.1056
world: 1.7.2yes, i know 1.7.2 is not 1.6.2.
I would like to thank you for providing this useful mod to the IC2 playerbase.

So, in a moment of panic, i managed to land myself writing a 15+ slide instructional powerpoint on how to build and operate IC2 nuclear reactors for a grade in class(University, not college or highschool). I'll post it here when it is done in case anyone wants to use it, add it to the wiki or whatever.
Getting a grade for playing a game... Win or fail?

I re-started my carrieer with the ARM pack in Kerbal and just made my first strong-enough rocket to have a close fly-by of Minmus. All was going fine and I was doing research in my 3-stack of Science jr's when I noticed my height being just about 4.5 km and travelling at almost 1km/s. I was almost certain all is gone as I saw a huge mountain coming up behind the curve of the moon. Sure enough, I crashed right into it but to my surprise not all was lost. Through some weird magic my crew capsule survived the impact. Apparently my craft was positioned at just the right height that all the other parts touched the surface but the capsule itself was high enough to barely get over all of it. Had I had just half a meter lower orbit it would have crashed as well. In addition that crash slowed me down enough that I was put to re-entry trajectory with Kerbin. While I lost all the science in the science jr's and goo capsules I did manage to get a whole lot from crew manifests and EVA reports so all in all it was a successful mission. At least for the Kerbins
That is Kerbal Tactics right there. -

depends on if you are watching the dub or sub.
it is supposed to be childish.
enjoy the moe. -
check your ram seating. if not, you may want to run a surface scan using a live-os (hirens) to check if your HDD is going.

WOW, ARM is legit.
That said, KSP has a modding API. that is why they can crank out updated mods in minutes.

I see your mindfuck and raise you THIS Viewer discretion is advised.
i like most of cyriak's videos. -
you understand what a log function is right?
-
if that is what your GUI looks like, you've got other problems... also, learn to use BugTracker, as that is where bug reports like this are to be sent.
-
assuming it is properly implemented...the new stripe pipes in BC will allow me to build an automated golem foundry.

Finally got me a new hardrive. To use it, I am casually moving 348 Gigabytes from HDD C to HDD D. Only takes 22 hours. What could possibly go wrong?!

i think it brings out his inner ass. Maybe if he spent less time prancing about, we could get out of the gate...

[Rant]While i support developers receiving monies for their works, i'm not sure how i like the 'pledge milestone for features' method. Long story short, i don't want minecraft mods to become paywalled ugliness [see also: android app market]. Bit.ly and ad.fly are fine. Donation links and contributions, fine. Charging for people to include your mod in a modpack, sketchy but they could all download it normally(I hope). Tiered donation driven features....sketchy from the get-go.
If you want a feature in your mod, put it in. Don't dangle things in front of the users with a 'maybe i will, maybe i won't' attitude. We've all probably played money-grub games [See also: Free to play, Pay to Win], and there is nothing that puts me off about a game faster than such models.[/Rant]

most wifi radios put out at most 4 milliwatts of energy. that is .04W for those playing along at home. a lightbulb puts out more, but you don't see me running like a cockroach every time someone flicks on the lights...
