At this point I dont even see this as notch's game anymore. Its albakas and space toads and eloraams game and notch is just some rogue trying to mess things up with his half baked, overgrown man child ideas.

Thats my what I think, and thats what I think of this suggestion. And even more if the villagers don't go all techy around(with implants, mechs and stuff).

If you shoot one of those torchs(flares D:>) in a dark cave full of mobs, it should attract them a few seconds. You know, for balance lulz and cats purpose.

That reminds me of certain bow with torchs of Terraria.

The idea is good but I would rather prefer shoot flares (sticky falres, yes, thanks again Terraria) than torchs.

Another satisfactory way would be to craft one empty cell above one "treetap" (really it's a spigot) and voila you have a cell that can place as well as pick up water. Lava? Well the spigot is wood, but we could handwave that away.

Well, one version (with coolant cells in its recipe if it is going to handle lava) wich can carry both, or just one for water/<insermoddedliquid> and a upgraded version for lava.

Add some kind of Water/LavaPack for the hand pump, and I would give you a cookie sir.

Would be nice if the microwave field generator could cook all dropped raw meat.
