Not much I can do. The ladder code has been moved to the entity side (+ a Forge hook) but it assumes you are inside the block for it to work as a ladder.

Use recommended not latest. The bug where keys are responsed to outside of the main game could have been readded.

No, they're using switch/case ForgeDirection, I suspect decompiler quirks.

The respective components retain their IDs so they should work. Just unload your reactors since existing designs go kablooey and redstone behavior was inverted
