Apart from my single player only port for 1.8.1.

Think this was fixed in the 1.2.3 version

We are aware about the switch to SDK's, we're using it now. SDK broke ore generation on server-side - cpw sent Forge a patch to fix this, which was promptly accepted and merged by Eloraam.

MLMP has a bug where ore generation doesn't work server-side. SDK or Forge has to fix it, cpw already sent Forge a patch to fix it and it's to be approved.

Post a screenshot of your setup. If it doesn't help, a map download.

SDK since Forge uses it

What could also fit this are lava lamps... made with actual lava

Wow, the old cable obscurator from IC1. I put it on the survey's "items you want coming back" question for that exact reason.

The UUM recipe for uranium was removed because it allowed for infinite energy and, when used right, could provide more energy than needed by the mass fabricator (not counting scrap production and other stuff).
Back in Equivalent Exchange 4, there was a mobius->uranium recipe which met a similar fate in EE5 - allowed for infinite energy but in a much more overkill way.

Cart chaining currently cannot be done without basefile modifications. Railcraft even has a few carts in its todo list which are waiting for cart chaining support.

Silver dust was a test run for Ore Dictionary, we just kept it due to popular demand.
I've been looking into mods which give more uses for gold like Steve's Carts, but after playing it myself I was convinced it's a GOLD SINK.

Did the induction furnace sound work in previous versions of IC2?
I think it did, whatever

I'd recommend you to start with standard Minecraft modding before going to IC2. There are lots of tutorials out there in the Minecraft Forums.

I left this quiet. My only answer is: go play creative

1.70 fixed the bug.
