And drop that HD fetish of yours, that's too damned many

I bit overcomplicated perhaps, but it will make coolants last 50% longer:
http://test.vendaria.net/index…IIICPCXICPHPCXXCPCXIXXCXI6 of the added coolant cells there will actually only build up 1 heat/second, so only need to be swapped when the HD is
-
Fourfire, you know that one pops both HDs and cells top and bottom? lol
Edit: WORKS, but 2 more heat
http://test.vendaria.net/index…CHCUUCHCHCCHCCCHHCCHCCCCH -
If you use platings the cells will pop before ANY hull heating occures
Edit: Also, you know 9k heat is perfectly safe for a 3-chamber reactor? It won't melt stuff until over 11k heat, and only really blow at 13kEdit2: It's stupid how Al, of all people, is spreading false info about his own game. 10k is the explosion point of a no-chamber reactor with no platings only

I have run it, and it works nicely. Just saying it's nice if the HD won't pop if you forget about it for a few minutes
Was working my ass of to get a no-HD breeder running, because I wanted 12k heat. But then I was told that breeding doesn't speed up after 9k and I was like - meh, boring.

Problem is that (AFAIK) HDs will draw 25 heat from the hull but only distribute max 24 heat to the coolants, hence it will blow during a long run...
Also, if you let the HDs drop heat into a plating that then heats a coolant it will keep a lower temp (And not pop simultaneously as the cells)

Because HDs in most cases can do a plates job, only better. The goal is to maximize coolants, and minimize everything else
-
But it would run for over an IRL week
-
You got some coolants not connected to HDs; Those won't cool any, so you actually have a heat surplus.
AFAIK this is the best mk1 3-row setup (Not mine):

Nils, coolants will still pop
Here is my award-winning 60eu/tick mk.II-B reactor:

Having the water flowing down from above prevents it boiling away
-
Too much heat for my taste really. Mk2 is baws
Edit: To my calculations it would hit 10k heat at tick ~2800. But since it's 6 chamber it won't be dangerous just yet

From surface to top of the world there's like 64 blocks. That's under 3% loss on fully isolated HV wire with EHW
Sure you need some iron and 2 diamonds for transforming to EHW and back, but it's not THAT much...
-
Neither temperature nor pressure exists, sorry
-
Still, It's bad if there's even a small risk of it blowing if you forget about it. The thing about pulling isos out requires you to be there, hence = more babysitting.
-
Sure it would be cool, but would it really be worth it? I mean, it would probably take a LOT of time to code
Let Al finish the orbital death ray and mass teleporter first

I made a reactor click here with 60eu/t. The only down side is that is has +1 heat but it won't explode any time soon XD
I will be uploading more of my "reactors"
Nils, cooling cells has to be adjacent to Heat Derivators. Try running your reactor for a while, the coolants next to the uran will build up heat and pop after a while
-
It will build slowly build up heat. That's an issuer since a one-chamber with no platings will melt stuff at 9350 heat...
-
Exempt that 10% is lost in the electolyzation (15k in, 13,5k out)
That's the loss in about 250 block long max insulation HV wire, or 1000 (!) block long fiber cable...
-
Not a perfect breeder, or 3 chamber, but it heats up quick and stays hot
That's under a 100 heat, for optimal breeding you need OVER 9000!!!1!!!one!!
