No I don't think that the miner should be able to be configured to dig faster. There are a lot more important things.
However I am 100% behind the idea of making the config conform to other mods, kinda like Treecapitator's config.
You misread my post. IIRC, According to a DEV post, The miner somehow uses the functionality of what a drill is able to drill for some part of it's functionality, I think specifially whether or not it gets stuck at a partical type of block. I was not suggestion a configuration to let it dig faster, but pointing out that the miner's code is dependent on the drills code.

I would suggest a solar array on the surface, with a high voltage wire to send power down to your base.

can you be more specific as to what you tried? such as what the wiring setup was like, whether you are channeling energy to a storage block anywhere, if said storage block is full or not....
Without more information it is somewhat difficult to determine what the issue is, and whether it is an actual bug, installation issue, or PBCAK error.

That's what i was thinking at first but then i thought of Multiplayer so i went with the energy moving or swapping between the two so you can't duplicate energy imbetween people going through the portal.
Hmm, good point.I think that also a hueg issue is that nether portals are not really linked, as in it has to recalulate where to come out each time.

Heh. I think that the issue is that sometimes suggestions are related to each other, or related to the same underlining problem.
My statement was about how, if you made two wiring setups, with different voltage tiers, and the lower tier connected to machines that would splode with the higher tier level of power, you could in theory set up colored cables to prevent the connection. However, in practice, that is not possible to do because when placed, wires are always black, and hence connect to all other wires, regardless of the other wire's colors. This tends to be the location where my machines explode, as I tend to try to save as much space as possible, which is actually quite hard to do. The underlining problem(or one of them) I see is that people accidentally create a connection that sends HV to a LV machine, which both some method of placing colored cables, as well as fuses, would fix.

I realize this, that's why i was suggesting that the transfer only happens when you actually go through the portal.
Would I be correct in thinking that the *storage blocks* on your original side would, on going through the portal, have their energy values copied to the other side?

Honestly, I wish there was a way to paint machines as well as wires, and also somehow place wires and paint them simultaneously, since everyone knows that black wires connect to everything.

I was hoping that batpack that is in it have 60 000EU but what i'm suggesting is

Lapotron Crystal pack: 3 000 000EU storage.
Now that's a really interresting battery pack!

Mods folder. I agree that this information should either be in a readme, or in the OP, preferably both.

Soon as Vanilla minecraft supports dynamic carried lights, I imagine this would be high on the list to be implemented. Currently, the capabilities to implement this do not yet exist, at least without modifying more base code, which Alblaka does not wish to do.

Hmm. I think I mean more like, how did you get the energy input, like what function call? It just looks like you used an incorrect function to me, that just gets One input, rather than all inputs, but its hard to tell.

Not the point. need them to be paintable to allow power to only connect to certain sections, and possibly to remove the possible loops (double rainbow elecric fence all the way?)
Could be a proper replacement for the Forcefields for now.
Would need an "active" animation though.
IMO all normal cables need an active animation, like HV cables in IC1, just so you can see the power, and note that licking said uninsulated steel cable may be a bad idea....
