I am trying to build my house up based on my wiring, but I am hitting snags. My issue is the reactors are buried underground (of course with protection to prevent a crater). I am trying to bring the connections back up into the house, but I do not see anyway of getting the HVT's to go up or down successfully. I am wondering if someone would be willing to join up on my server and take a look and see if there is a way of solving this. Worse case scenario is I have to move the reactor locations offsite and more in line with my power grid.

hmm but I created that world after I installed IC. I had been spawning items in and really didn't pay attention to the lack of copper and tin when I was mining. I caught on a second pass through a cave complex and noticed that all I was seeing was the vanilla resources. However, now everything is functioning as intended.

okay I found out something didn't launch right on my server. I noticed it first while mining. I never found any copper, tin, or uranium while on my dig. I think what caused it not work right was because I entered the name "Caverns" for the seed in the server properties.

I backed that world up and made a new one with level seed blank and the world generated including the IC resources. I built a new solar flower and tested it, and was quickly shocked by the HV line.

    I am using IC 7.20

Okay my server is setup correctly, but in my testing I have found that my solar flower is not generating any power what-so-ever I used a EC manipulator and found that the reading before the first MFE is 0EU. I have made many flowers on SP and all worked fine, but on MP nothing is happening.

My current setup is a 12 point flower and I have my switches in the proper places. I am also passing the current through a MFE > HVT > HVT > MFE > Machines

Hello again. I have a question which I have not been able to find the answer for. Currently I am running Solar flowers throughout my industrial site and I was considering running miners with geothermal plants attached to them. I was curious if I could route the power from the miners into my exsisting MFE's and still maintain my flowers (for when the geothermals are finally depleted) or will I need to unhook my flowers to rout the power for the geothermal?

I am using the latest version of IC 7.20. I am trying to wire up my equipment, but I am getting 0 EU on the wire just after the MFE. The solar flower I constructed is pulling in energy, but it seems to not be transmitting.

This is showing that the MFE is taking energy from the solar flower at a constant rate.

This is showing the measurement on the first wire AFTER the MFE.

    I am baffled

I must of misread everything, but this time around I saw it said the contents of each folder while preserving the sub-folders for minecraft. Now it is up and running. Too bad buildcraft will interfere with this, but only thing I really found great about buildcraft was the vacuum tubes and the cusomizable quarries. I think this one will be far better with the richness of recipes and content. Thank you for all of your help, now with my friend joining Minecraft I will probably have to set us a server up soon.

right now I am concerned with getting IC running.

Step 1: Forced an update to minecraft to reset my minecraft.jar
Step 2: Downloaded and installed ModLoader
Step 3: Downloaded and installed Flan's ModLoaderMP
    Step 4: Deleted META-INF Folder from Minecraft.jar
Step 5: Downloaded latest version of IndustrialCraft
Step 6: Copyed the 4 folders into the minecraft.jar, including the server folder.
    Step 7: Closed minecraft.jar
Step 8: Copied the IndustrialCraftConfig.txt to the ./minecraft/bin folder
Step 9: Removed the two comments on enableNano and enableMineableOre
Step 10: Copied the IndustrialCraftConfig.txt to .minecraft/ folder.
    Step 11: Ran Minecraft
Step 12: Created a new world with a random seed
Step 13: Mined trees to make a crafting table
Step 14: attempted to make a tree tap and failed.

The recipe doesn't show up and I know I am doing it right, because I have the guide open as well.

I deleted the entire .minecraft folder and restored it to the default. The way I understand the directions I am to copy all four folders into the minecraft.jar file. Then I am supposed to modify the config file and place a copy of it in ./minecraft/bin and .minecraft/

What am I missing here? Should i post a copy of my minecraft.jar for you?
