Aside from wiring issues and timing issues my factory is up and running. I originally started with a small line, but then tried to make a massive facility and fill in around it (failed badly). So This time around I decided to design the factory layout first and then build a building around it.

Is there any texture packs that are compatible with IC?
Yes Faithful 32x32 is compatible with IC Click here for the pack.

almost worth it, but considering I have a large scale operation I think I will stick to tesla coils for defense.

okay so at 256EU I would get 31 spaces inside. Now the question is if I have 2 machines spaced at 31 blocks apart would this expand the coverage of the shield?

I was curious about this I set one up to see how it worked and found that I didn't get much range @64EU from a MFSU. I built a relay as well to test, but ran out of resources to expand my power grid. How many blocks do I get per EU spent?

That is okay I was testing on a SSP world and I found that the reactor has a chance of going meltdown while just processing uranium into ignots. I think I am going to route solar panels in to the base or something else.
This just happened a minute ago. All the reactor was tasked to do is process uranium. Then the ignots would of been placed into a storage container via tubes and sent on to the powering reactor. -

Good morning guys. I have come across a possible bug in 8.10. I was removing machines with my wrench and on the 4th machine the game freezes up and kicks me to a black screen. Now I don't know if this is IC or if it is one of the following mods:
BuildCraft v1.7.3.1
Integrated Redstone v1.7.3If someone could be so kind to walk me through how to get the game to record errors I could do that for you guys. I haven't attempted this on SSP only on SMP.
My reactor question:
I am working on making (hopefully) a fully automated factory on my SMP server. To do this I am going to use Reactors to power everything (as I have sadly discovered that I cannot run HV from the surface down to the basement). These reactors are going to be underground and of course heavily protected from any accidents :). My idea for this was to use Buildcraft tubes to run uranium into a core reactor to process the ignots and then have it dispersed to my various power reactors. My question comes in at the power reactors. I noticed the buildcraft tubes can only be hooked in the top or bottom of a machine to get material in. To get the ignots in to the reactor I would have to run a tube underneath the reactor and have the power cable come out the top of the reactor. Is this possible? -
server shows you joined, but I don't see you on the list.

Okay information sent Feanturi and thank you.

Well they are gone, I can show you guys I will PM my hamachi info and show you that it is gone

I am using the 8.10 IndustrialCraft and the latest ModloaderMP Server. Since the update I noticed ALL of the added ores have disappeared. I remember at least 6 different pockets that I had marked and now they are gone. I can't just start up a new world for my friends, they have already built a considerable amount. Is there a way to get the server to redistribute the pockets of ore so they can enjoy IC?

Ah I have seen some videos where someone was metering the HV lines. It was a matter generation video showing the guy's setup. His readings were in the 15k range. So I thought I could meter it and see the same responses. However I stood on a working line for 5 minutes and never got hit with any damage. I was also running machines at the same time so it wasn't an issue of the MFE capped out.

yup. At least I finally got my client downgraded back to 1.6.6, but I noticed some odd issues with that. For example I can walk across live HV lines and not get damaged from it, and another example on SSP is the EC manipulator is not reporting currents from HV lines (I want to stress that is on Single Player).

I have noticed that Flan has done an unofficial ModloaderMP update for 1.7.2
I finally got my client downgraded and I am getting ready to do my friend's client next so we can get back to building again.

Well I decided to try that tool, but I can't get it to work, it says it can't find the patches... I put the patch file in several different locations, but nothing. I was hoping to get everything up and running so I can show my friend's son IC in action. Looks like I am going to be showing him plastic craft instead Doesn't matter anyways I was an idiot and copied over the minecraft_server and didn't even think to back it up first
actually I just found that I did backup my server before downloading the new one. I also misread the instructions for the downgrade utility, but it is giving me a constant checksum failure and says I need a fresh, unmodified copy of minecraft.jar, despite the fact that is fresh, oh well. I am too tired to keep trying.

The way I am currently getting around the EC problem is this:
on SSP I build the design using TooManyItems and then I alter the flow to match my needs. Then I assemble the design on my server and set everything up based on the design I did in SSP. Also I have a chart in my industrial complex that shows what the end EU is based on a 5 cable wire, which is how I layout most of my stuff. It has been working well for me, and hopefully Alblaka will come up with a work around to the SMP problem. -
Thank you but it is okay. We will wait patiently for the updates. Modloader has been updated, and I am curious if you guys are going to work with Rigsumi (spelling) ModloaderMP and serverMP to make IC compatible with it.
Until then I am playing around with pistons and seeing what works. I found that doing a minecart launcher is a fail. If you put the piston at the track's edge it pushes the entire track up one block. I am still working with it and trying to create some sort of station for it all. I am getting tired of missing my carts when I accidentally push them too fast lol.

my friend says that as well, smart girl I say
