After a great delay i decided that i should download and play IC2 again. After installing the mod and playing it for a few minutes i realised that wiki doesn't have any crafting info related to latest version whatsoever.
Browsing a forum refered to some NEI...that turned out to just turn my survival minecraft into creative. Not the thing i would kinda like. Is there any other way to know new IC2 recipes without turning your game into creative?

I also managed to forget both my password and e-mail witch my old IC2 account was registered into, i guess it can't be helped, but i will still ask, just in case ^^

Yes, i used the search button. It is the 1st thing i did after figuring out what's going on. NEI references mostly.

Disable NEI item spawning in its in-game options.

Open inventory, click options, change "Cheat mode" to "Recipe mode".

There are others like craftguide, but the recommended is NEI, as it is the less buggy of the kind.

I'll try others, but i think they will have the same issues as NEi. Still, much thx for help.

NEI does not turn your game into creative. You can turn off cheat mode, then it becomes a very handy way to find out item recipes.

Or just don't click on the table on the right. Or press "o", it will disable it (but maybe it would also disable the fact that it shows you the recipes, I don't know).

I'm french, so if you see any grammar mistake, please let me know, do it, I have an exam. Thank you !

even if you choose not to 'lock' recipe mode, you may find the information here useful
