I wan to start something similar to the wiki but it seems that thing has not been updates since forever. Who's permission do I need to just copy the info still relevant from the wiki into this new site.
I ask because I think you need permission to alter the wiki right? Plus I am just making it more casual than really wiki like for me and my friends.
On the other hand how can I get permission to simply help with updating the wiki?
doubt it.. but i am sure they should let you have access to update if you ask here?

As far as i know you are free to document IC² features anywhere you want. Preferably the official wiki, but for permissions PM "Imer" (also "Blaster").
So you dont need permission to edit the Wiki?
To edit minor stuff like text no. To upload images and other major things, yes.
If you are interested on permissions PM Imer about it.
Before I embark on this route though I would like to know if there is a place that keeps information already. Like for example how to make refined iron. It seems simple but I still dont know what the new way of making it is.
That info is scattered on several threads in the forum.
