Q-Suit is not applying Fire Resist buff, do I need to enable it somehow?

It doesn't apply fire protection. It protects you from fire damage though.

For free at least, the quantum suit will protect you at the expense of constant energy drain whilst you're in the lava.

Well, its not protecting me, at least last time I dove into lava in nether.

Gonna try some more times to see.

Yes, still taking damage while swimming in lava.
