Question: [Forge 1.2.4]

    I understand that the install page says

    But does this mean that 1.43 is exclusive on Forge 1.2.2? I only ask because my other mods say 1.2.2 but also run on 1.2.4.

    So I played with some settings after doing the new jar thing and got it to load...kinda. I don't think this is an IC2 issue anymore.

    Doesn't look like an IC² Issue, can't tell 100% sure though.

    "McForge 1.2.2" means "it's guarantueed to work with 1.2.2".
    Can't make statements about different versions, but "newer" versions TEND to be compatible with older ones, thus it's usually not a problem.
    Don't take my word on this, though, if there was a change in one of the used method-heads it could cause a crash.

    But given 1.2.4 is out for some time, crashes would have been brought up already.

    I use 1.2.4 IC2 (latest) RP2 (almost latest, waiting on IC2 for a meaningful time to update since there are no new killer features or bugfixes worth the effort). It works just fine.
