An alternative to the nuclear reactor with the uranium crafted in during building. The differences being that this one is 100% safe and it generates about 20 mill eu (crafted using 4 uran cells).
Useful in a remote workshop.

To sum up, you want cheap, 100% safe, easy to set up, eff. 2.5 reactor.

I wish the "Bawww im too busy to even check what the fuck is happening with my crops/generators/machines so i want something that does everything for me" suggestions would stop.
Also Op, you have sucessfully described a Energy/Lapotron + MFE/MFSU combination O.o
Wouldnt go beyond efficiency 0.8, for sure. IF i implement this that is, and i don't see a real reason to. Just get yourself a cheap MK I design.
Some kind of radionuklid battery would be funny though. But expecting them to produce even as much energy as a solar is way off^^

For people who want a basic reactor to use up all the uranium they, otherwise, wouldn't use. Some people are intimidated by the current reactor design.
Fair enough, 0.8 would work. I think what I was really going for was a Nuclear Battery, low output for massive durations.

^That simply^
How about a Low efficiency (as low as 0.25-0.5) Uranium powered single use battery that discharge REALLLLLY slowly (If possible)

Lets say 10EU/t for 20000sec (5.5 hours). Or even 5 EU/t for 11 hours sounds good, if uranium in battery block can be replaced. Counting with 4 cells and 0.5 eff.

Those would work in 0.2efficiency... i like it.
Dont complain, if you want the full power of the uranium get yerself a nuclear reactor.
...Wait are we talking about 1 uranium > 1 battery or more batteries per uranium? If the second case i can only agree if its 2 batteries per uranium.

I was thinking about 4 uranium cells per battery, to have EU/t output high enough even with 0.5 eff. and longer running time.
Well your proposed Battery does 4m EU total before it gets depleted. Each uranium cell provides 20m EU with 1.0 efficiency. (At least if my math is right, each second has 20 ticks x 20000 secs (5.5hrs) x 10 EU/T = 4m.
So 4 uranium cells would be 80m eu while the battery discharges only 4m, im in for low efficiency, but this may be a little too much.

It actually is 0.5 eff

Derp, dunno why i added that extra 0. Still dont like that 0.5 efficiency, considering the creation via crafting table would be a lot more simpler and cheaper than creating the nuclear reactor block + the components to make sure it doesnt go boom consuming the cell (In case you dont place at least 9 water blocks nearby the reactor).

Well that highly depends on items used to craft one. (we got a lot of really expensive stuff to craft from)

So far, nothing can beat how expensive the nuclear reactor is.

Qsuit ? Pretty expensive too IMO.

Well... Q suit expensiveness comes from a diferent source, but i guess its fair compararison.
So unless you want to make these batteries from Iridium...
So unless you want to make these batteries from Iridium...
Why not
Maybe you make thermonuclear batteries powered by , makes 5-2 EU tick but lasts for quite a bit.
