i noticed this a while ago and forgot about it but its a very serious issue. every time i smelt my ores, lets go with 6 iron for example, i put them in the furnace and i come back later and there is only 1 iron. same with any other material i put in the furnace. what is going on?

Are you using a old version of forge? I remember it has something to do with forge, which i think got fixed with one of the lastest forge updates.

i have 1.3.0 so will put in 1.3.1 and post if it works

You can disable RP2 Ore generation in it's configuration file in the red power folder

or do they work for crafting things for either mod?
They should work for any and all forge mods that require them. Thanks to the Forge Ore Dictionary.
