I think that once you have your basic machines set up, you can make advanced machines, i dont know if there is a mod for this, but i could not find it after hours of searching, but I think that it would be a good implemantation into IC2

Adv. Machines Alpha, or an update in regards to it, will be released, hopefully, Monday. (As said by Zip, creator of the mod.)
