without reason. Generally speaking, you didn't comply with forums rules, most common type is not putting the correct title format. Here is an example for a suggestion. Please note that all of this information is in the READ FIRST section of every sub-section.

The point of putting a suggestion heading is that the archive section has no sub-sections, so this keeps it nice and neat.
honestly if for some reason a moderator or admin deletes a thread they should be morally obligated to at least inform the author why
I fail to see how "morality" enters into this. Their house, their rules - we are guests here. They are not accountable to us.
Rule has two reasons:
1. Makes it easier to keep a tidy Archive.
2. Basic filter to delete threads made by people not reading forum rules (under assumption of those people not reading the forum in general and thus posting redundant stuff either way).
