help with server creation

    so i have all the know how on how to mod client minecraft. but very little on how to mod a minecraft server. and me and a few friends would like to run ic2 and the other great mods (bc,rp2,ee2). and me being the one who does ALL of the modding for all of my friends, i have to figure out how to mod this. i already have a minecraft server and i ported it with hamachi. its all running smooth and we can all connect.


    i would really like some help from anybody who can help. Any further information you need just ask. please and thanks :Industrial Diamond:

    1. Install MC-Forge IN the minecraft_server.jar
    2. Run once to create all folders
    3. Put IC²- and RP-Serverversions into mods-folder
    4. Run once again and you have these two mods
    5. I dont know how to install EE but i think it should be like dropping it's Serverversion into mods-folder
    6. Make sure that you are using the same Block-ID's for Client AND Server
    7. Play and join your new Server

    ok, fresh server jar, installed the forge. ran it once. but it has not created a mods folder?

    End of stream? the console says that i have disconected for a .generic.reason


    this has happened to me before. this is actualy what is stopping me.

    grrr. well. thank you for the advice. haha if you know anybody you can pm that would be much appreciated. haha. but i guess i can wait.
