hello, right now ive set up a system in my nuclear reactor, its simply a single source, about 4 blocks above the chamber itself with a piston that lets water flow all over the reactor when i want it to, but what ive been wondering is, does this have the same effect as water source blocks, being 100% around the reactor?

I'm confused about this myself. I could be wrong, but I THINK that jsut any water is fine. I've seen a lot of designs using flowing water.
yes flowing water is fine.
From what I know, not only is flowing water fine it is also recommended as you can have a source block out of the burn distance cooling the reactor (in some cases people build hot running reactors forgetting that the water will evaporate when it gets to hot making it heat up faster resulting in a nice crater).
