Is that possible to change some block's recipe?

Hi all

One of my friends uses IC2 on his server.But he want to change config of IC2,not just change block's ID.We decompiled JAR file using JD-GUI | Java Decompiler.

Although I can see all code, I can do nothing more.I can't recompile the modified Java file. Also I can't
decompile using MCP.

Is there any way to modify? I hope anyone of you can help me.

its possible to recompile, but you will need to perform multiple code modifications to fix decompilation bugs.

So basically your wanting to to create a version of IC2 for you and your friends? Seems overly complicated besides the point that upkeep would be a pain in the ass.
