If you place a pillar of scaffolds and reach maximum height (256) and left click the pillar to try placing another above it will consume a scaffold without placing any block. Both Iron and Wooden scaffolds are bugged.
Actually i found this bug much time ago, but was too lazy to post. While building wind towers made me remember this bug, now i just posted it instead of doing nothing, as it is a minor bug.
