IC2 In real life?

So Ive had an idea for quite some time and just havent gotten around to it.
After seeing the foam dimond swords and pickaxes that mojang has been selling i got the idea of "Why not a nano saber or a mining drill?"

So my question is, has anyone made any IC2 related things out side of minecraft?
