[MC 1.4.6] Open Beta v1.112

The way you made this message is so confusing that I can barely read it. But yes, there is a new version LIKE I LINKED YOU TO. And there's a nice little page button at the bottom-left of the page SO YOU CAN READ OLD POSTS.

Sorry about the quote spam, I was replying from my phone and it apparently doesn't like this forum software. I didn't notice any link in your original message, but now that I looked again it's there, so thank you.

And the snark wasn't intended for you, but for the person complaining that I was the fifth person to bring this up. My reply about not living on the forums was directed at him.

And, yes, I know how to navigate a forum, I've been using them since before the internet existed (through BBSes). The point I was trying to make is that I have neither the time nor inclination to read through more than 3 pages of posts to see if people have brought up the issue I'm dealing with. This wasn't in the last three, so here I am.

  • ;) Well, you won't believe how many people I've met who don't know what a "post" is...
Hope your problem is solved. If it isn't, spotloaders!

try using the search thread option at the top. I almost missed it myself. it hides in the "Industrial Craft2 - The Forum" banner at the top

  • I'm trying to find (or atleast understand) what is the latest version of the beta of this addon. Is there a central site that is the master of this?

I see in this thread there are links to drop box accounts, a jenkins account. Is the Jenkins account (http://ic2api.player.to:8080/job/IC2_lf/) built of the current official working source, or is it someone else's dump of the code? (if that is the official beta builds, what is the difference between http://ic2api.player.to:8080/job/IC2/ and http://ic2api.player.to:8080/job/IC2_lf/ ?)

I'm not actually certain what the difference is (or that a second site even existed), but yes, those contain the absolute latest version of IC2 possible.

Is the answer to this question no?

To my best understanding, IC2 and IC2_lf get built at the same time. So yes, they are the same, and it is the official source.

Well I down loaded both and did winmerge on them to see what was different. The only difference is "-lf" used in the mod name...everything else is 100% the same. Baffels me, maybe a different mod behaves differently because of the change in -lf...

I always try the search function (if one exists) before perusing the latests posts, but they are unreliable at best.

I used the build you linked to, and it didn't fix it. What is a spotloader? My Google Fu must be lacking...

  • Hello!

Sorry for the dumb question, but how to use Electrolyser?

Stick it directly next to an MFSU, MFE, or Batbox

Is the answer to this question no?

  • Thanks, but still does not work. Am I correct in doing this?

Yes, if IIRC, the cells won't electrolyze until the MFSU is above 3/4 full

If your spam is: [stuff] isn't connected to the eNet
then that hasn't been fixed yet.
Chickenbones has a Chunkloading mod that includes spotloaders, they basically only chunkload the spot they're sitting on or something like that.

The error is telling you that there's a machine in an unloaded chunk trying to emit energy, but it can't. Ignore it if you want.

I have been using ChickenChunks for awhile now, but this is the first I've heard of spotloaders. There seems to be no documentation on them, however, as I read through the entire OP by ChickenBones.

I'd like nothing more than to ignore the log errors, however, they comprise 90% of my server log. Kind of hard to ignore when you need to read the log. That's why I originally said it would be nice if they got fixed soon.

And where are you getting links to new versions of IC2? The OP in this thread is the only place I can find them.

  • Hello
I have problem with IC2 version 187 (actually ported).
If i place some machines and log off it change rotation! When i log in, all machines are rotated another direction.
Also, all plants from IC will disapear (become invisible)

Can you help me somehow or tell me how to fix it?
