I was testing the gregtech translocater/buffer/filter blocks in SP and stumbled hard. The problem as far as I have identified it lies with the energy transmission of before mentioned blocks.
I've posted on reddit about it, and they told me to come here for help.
I'll just copy the post here and add further observations after it:

Below the barrel in the image there is an electric translocator
pulling items from the barrel and putting it into a small buffer. The
buffer puts the items into a row of of 5 electric sorters in front of
it. Each of the sorters has the red output towards the front of the
image, and the blue output to a sorter below it. The 5 sorters on the
bottom middle row output the items to two small buffers to the left and
right of them. The buffers are supposed to put them into the bottom slot
of the furnaces. The buffers below the furnaces refuse to do anything
however, and I'm completely lost as to why.
When I lay a cable to supply power, they work fine, but the sorters are
supposed to provide the energy needed (I'm providing the translocator
with 32EU/p and the energy gets passed on successfully all the way to
but not including, the buffers).
I've sporadically had success with different orders of placement, which
is confusing me even more.
Am I missing something obvious, or are they maybe bugged?
Thanks to anyone who can help me here.
Following the suggestions that it might be a problem with my power supply I loaded the SP world back up and added two bat boxes in parallel and checked again.
and now the items won't be transferred past the first filter at all. So now the translocater which receives the power will transfer the items from the barrel to the buffer, the buffer to the first filter and there it just stops.
The blocks are all set to emit energy to their respective output sides, so I am completely lost as to why it isn't working, and neither do I know whether I'm missing something obvious or if I'm just faced with a bug.
I'd really appreciate some help
