Can you mix cable types?

    As the title says can you mix and match diff cable types?


    For example say I have 4 power sources all outputting max 128 EU and I want to combine them into 1 line at 512 EU. I know I can just hook up gold cable to all 4 sources and meet them in the middle to 1 line and now that one gold line can hold all 512 EU fine, BUT.. can you say use copper wire from all 4 sources until you meet in the middle and then start using gold cable at the intersection.

    Cable frying is broken anyway, or at least was, so there might be no noticeable difference with any cable type.

    145 Mods isn't too many. 9 types of copper and 8 types of tin aren't too many. 3 types of coffee though?

    I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realise that what you read was not what I meant.
