If the "models" were blocky then it wouldn't be a model, but just a texture.

Also, are you aware that IC² recently got a texture makeover? I don't think it would be kind for SirusKing to replace the texture all over again for barely three months.

Multiblock structures are unnecessary at the moment. They are not that expensive (e.g. Xycraft multi-tanks which are dirt cheap) and there is no need for multiblocks when the current blocks are sufficient. Multiblocks structures are planned, but the current blocks have too basic functionality to build multiblocks, which are large and take up space. Multiblocks may also cause lag if not coded properly.

Finally, IC² has more important things such as functionality to fix right now, fancy graphics can come later.

That puzzle is actually very easy to solve, it is only tedious. People are already complaining that IC² is too tedious.

Anyway, what''s the point of a puzzle if you want a way to automagically solve it?

What kind of miningames? Please elaborate more. How will they help the user? What drawbacks do they have? The IC² suggestion forum is not a wishlist forum, all suggestions here are expected to be somewhat detailed.

If you want minigames, consider designing your own nuclear reactor, that is something that will help you a lot in the long run?

I really think it would be awesome if IC2 Machines, and Blocks would use costum 3D Models for example like some Atomic Science Machines. If you want to make it short you could just use the CodeChickenLib from Chickenbones i think it contains modeling it would also give you the possibility to import them out of resourcePacks

Please don't be stupid, the only dependency IC² will need is Forge for the near future. Any other dependency would be a hassle for the end-user.

And IC² has more important features to implement that fancy graphics (which may lag the lower-end computers), such as fixing the E-Net.

I already mentioned in other posts that it would be a good idea to add aupport for other mods, i think that not every mod should integrate IC2 but also should be integrated by IC2 for some people ( like me ) who are playing with a bunch of other mods it would make a way smoother and better gameplay.

All the major technological mods so far have some sort of integration with IC², e.g. Buildcraft Combustion Engines can use IC² Coolant Cells, MFR machines accept EU.

If there are any minor mods that want to have any integration with IC², it is up to them - IC² developers cannot afford making every build of IC²E compatibility-related, they have issues such as the E-Net to work on.

Of course, if you are talking about magic mods (e.g. Thaumcraft) or stupid mods (e.g. Obby tools, paxels, emerald tools) there is no need for integration as they are incompatible theme-wise.

You can turn off cobble scrapping since 1.00 with the config, and UU rate with the config too. However, the energy cost is fine, just the scrap cost is way overloaded.

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Violet_(color), yes it is a color which exists.
Wavelength modifier would toggle between colorized beams and invisible beams.

Colorized lights : Red to Violet
Invisible Lights : Microwaves (requires magnet, deals extra damage to entities that has significant amount of water), X-ray (requires magnet and U238, goes through blocks, dealing damage to entities normally), Gamma rays (requires plutonium [nuclear modifier], goes through blocks, dealing insane damage to any entity, apply radiation poisoning for 15s)

What about radio waves for messages?

Did you know that Raiclraft recently - in the release before the fuel nerf in fact - added an item, found in the nether, that has no other purpose but to heat up boilers really quickly?

So that's what Firestone is for.

I thought it was a fancy flint and steel that could be used to obsidianize lava.

And surprisingly enough, lava did burn for 10k EU back in IC² version 1.23. They buffed it in version 1.337 along with Generators because everybody was spamming solars (which got nerfed that version).

Maybe a full return would be too much... how about 12k EU or 15k EU instead? And for 1000 ticks.

I had to think real hard on this one. Is this something that you guys want? If so, then I would be willing to find yet more ways to override IC2's classes. The problem is I don't want to change the visual aspect of too many things. (I want the mod to work WITH the existing mining laser, not REPLACING it.)

Is there any real reason for that? I think overriding IC2's laser (the same way as how Railcraft overrides vanilla Minecraft carts) would be the best way to implement all the features.

Still, are there any good map converters? The last one I used to convert from 1.2.5 to 1.4.7 just corrupted the world (I forgot the name but it was some command line based tool).

There was one called mIDas Gold or something like that.
