I was thinking lava in the geothermal generators needed to be buffed more than anything. Compared to BC Oil and Fuel, it is simply pathetic. Lava has a burn time of 500 at a rate of 20 EU/t, making 10k EU. Oil burns for 2000 at a rate of 8 EU/t, making 16k EU total. And fuel burns for 8000 at a rate of 32EU/t for an astounding 128k EU! Either lava should be buffed, or Fuel nerfed.

Fuel must be nerfed. Buff lava? No way.

Remember in IC² Classic/LF, which was just Geothermal Spam?

How's everyone finding the fact Youtube now has no character limit on comments? All ready seen the whole Act 1 of Richard the Third by Shakespeare as a top comment :)

Useless, unneeded and stupid change that people will come to anyway. I don't want a damn Google+, all I want is to watch videos!

Will also cause people who want to remain anonymous trouble.

Sirus you missed out 6) :P

Regarding rubber early-game, would it be possible to add Rubber Tree Saplings to the Bonus Chest? If it's there already, increase the weight instead? Stickreed is a pain to get now... I've spent about half a stack of wood on crossbreeding sugar cane.

Thorium is a waste product of rare Earth elements. We'll have plenty of that.

In worst case scenario the thorium would melt through the car and emit some radiation. No (fission) explosion is physically possible.

As for the car, I'm almost certain they are either lying or something went missing somewhere. Thorium can't be used for RTGs and even if it could the best mobile RTGs we have are at 140W output of electrical power (+500W of heat). A car would need about 500x as much. I'm not really sure what they could be doing with thorium to extract energy out of it but I highly doubt the amount would last for a century.

Apparently they are using on the density of thorium to generate heat.

Greg, with reference to RichardG's new location, are you attempting or not attempting to capture three legendary creatures with two tails each, have psychic powers and levitational powers, so that you can find another two legendary dragons of steel and water in control of time and space respectively to destroy and re-create the world, but without emotion?

Most people say Amps as well, but the full term is Amperrage and should be used in most circumstances, same for wattage > Power. Power could be anything: Force, Emotional power, "Magical" power, but Wattage can only be Electricity.

How about electrical current and electrical power for Amps and Watts respectively?

About voltage: exactly what you said. That's what confuses people, because it is LV, HV, MV, and EV, so people think it is Voltage. It would be better to change it to LP, HP, MP, and EP, so it would be less confusing and more accurate.

Concerning the wiki, what site is hosting it? So that I can learn where all the editing tools are (including adding pages) I honestly believe though that the wiki in its current state should be remade simply because of how much of its content needs to be updated.

The wiki is on the same industrial-craft.net server hosted by imer. It is powered using MediaWiki I think.

As well-known and advertised, GregTech changes recipes.

GregTech replaces the standard IC² machinery (Macerator, E Furnace) with its automatic versions, which have extra features such as super-overclocking, input buffer, automatic output ejection and energy output. They have the same crafting recipe. You can turn this off in the GregTech configuration file.

Sometimes, the client and server do not have synchronised configuration files, and hence the recipe may appear to be different from the client than the server. (E.g. The client thinks that A + B --> C, so it shows it in the crafting output, but the server thinks that A + B --> nothing, so when you try to pick it up, nothing happens). Therefore, try replacing the configuration file on the server with the client one and vice versa.

By the looks of it, the Home page is completely locked so I won't be able to change anything on the home page. I will try and work around this limitation but it will be difficult

If it's really necessary we could create an IC² Community Wiki instead.

To continue on the discussion about including /ic2/api folders from the previous thread, it is not necessary to do that at all. Greg's method is to use a try/catch block for that, so he can have compatibility for certain other mods like Thermal Expansion and Railcraft. In fact, TE's author King Lemming also insists on people NOT including his api folder in his mod download.

    EDIT: SpwnX, wait what?

Just sirus reverting the order of what i did, idc about it.
Finished the job, now the second thread is GONE for GOOD! ~SpwnX
