Suggestion: Add the line "Green is input, red is output (but may change depending on texture pack used)" to the G.L.A.D-OS description of the GregTech Electric Automation Blocks.

EDIT: Add a redstone-pulse mode to the Electric Autocrafting Table that creates items on a redstone pulse.

I cannot seem to get splitter cables to accept redstone current from redpower2 wires. I have tried using redpower2 wire, and jacketed wire. They both appear to connect, however neither will successfully transmit a redstone signal to the cable. Only vanilla redstone seems to work. I have seen as of version 1.90 that this should be fixed, however it either wasn't, or something down the road happened that un-fixed it. I am using redpower 2 PR6, and IC2 1.112 on minecraft 1.4.6 in SMP. I haven't tested this on SSP, but I would assume it works the same as on smp.

Try using a Buffer Gate or Repeater to collect/transmit the signal.

I didin't play minecraft seriously for months now but i believe long range mode works well as weapon.
(i'm lurking theese forums on a daily basis, even if i don't post)

Yeah, you almost always have to use it if you want to complete the "Like a Boss" achievement. However without GraviSuite, you'll probably have to bring 10 lappacks or something.
Of course GregTech Lapotron-packs also work well...

I, the IC-Editor who is doing the HAYOish (I don't have to solve a captcha for wiki edits! Yay!), the creator of the HI-JOE IC² language pack and the creator of the first HAYO-ish suggestion, will not rest until every wiki article has something HAYO-ish!

Speaking of HI-JOE, mind reviving it, with GregTech support? And vanilla support, you can go to minecraft.jar/lang/**_**.lang to change the names of the default vanilla items.

Uhhm, the Forge-OreDictionary has entries for Wood and Planks, even for STICKS!!! If Buildcraft would use those, like IC² and every other large Forge-Mod does, then it would be possible to craft it using that Wood. And I made my Batbox from Fir-Wooden-Planks, so your argument is invalid.

    Edit:
    V2.74d:
New Material to build your Super-Safe Bunkers: Tungstensteel! But not just Tungstensteel, VACUUM HARDENED TUNGSTENSTEEL!!! Regular Vacuum hardened Steel, is one of the best Materials one can imagine. Many popular Space Stations have been made of it, like the infamous Death Egg, which fell 3 times back onto the Planet WITHOUT EVEN DENTING the vacuum hardened Outer Hull!!! Now combine that with the hardness of Tungsten, and you get a Material, which can resist explosions like Iridium! But not only that! Its awesome dark Blue look, and the possibility to combine it with Iridium to make it EVEN STRONGER, are perfect for building Bases of it!

    I rewrote that for you:
    Version 2.74d:
After a long time of R&D, we present to you our newest invention: the Vacuum-Hardened Tungsten-Steel, HAYO! Remember those green little alien creepy things, which sometimes appeared with some random lightning-armor that made it stronger? Or you forgetting to flip the switch on your not-so-protected Nuclear Reactor? Screw those, as with our Vacuum-Hardened Tungsten-Steel, you get a material as hard as the most HAYO-ish metal on the planet: IRIDIUM! Additionally, you can transform your base from hayo to HAYO with Iridium-Tungsten-Steel-Reinforced Stone!

I did enjoy the read, thank you, and I imagine one or two of the aspects of things you've mentioned might get stuck in my head and come back around and whack me as "inspiration" later.

If there's one thing I would think most important to bring to your attention, it's the lighting parts -- the way light works in Minecraft, it's literally impossible to have colored lighting or light levels greater than 15, which is the light level inside a glowstone block. Anyone trying to implement anything above that is going to have to fight uphill -- and I won't say they're not going to be able to do it, but it'll certainly be less robust to begin with. That's the one thing I'd consider most important to keep in mind.

    Factorization wrath-lamps?

And I'm not sure about this, but what about using sunlight instead of block light?

Update your GregTech, the bug is fixed already.

I'm always constantly switching between my jetpack and my lappack. It would be nice if there was an item that had the functionality of both. Using electric tools would use power directly from this item, but at the same time, it would also have the ability to fly, like a jetpack. Flying would use power directly from the item as well. It should also be able to hold at LEAST twice the amount of EU as the lappack, and should be pretty expensive, as this would be a very powerful tool. I haven't thought of a name for this item yet, but if anyone comes up with a good name, feel free to post it here. :)

    Engage Blaze Mode...
    ALL DENIED ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    And finally...

IT IS ALREADY DENIED DIDN'T YOU EVEN USE SEARCH????
AND THERE IS AN ADDON FOR THIS CALLED GRAVITATION SUITE THAT HAS YOUR FUDGING FLIGHT-LAPPACK!

SpwnX, where is your post about people under 20 posts not able to suggest things?
And where is our resident asshole's shotgun?

Wait... pyrotechnics don't use shotguns, they use flamethrowers.
