try going to here http://www.skydaz.com/industri…ller-for-minecraft-1-4-6/ and you can use the installer to get it to work with the latest minecraft

Why use that? FtB is out, otherwise you can use MultiMC/Powers of DIY to install. it.

i dont know if this is the right place for this post but here goes.

i would like everyone to know iv run into a problem when trying to use forestry-A-1.6.4.1 and industrialCraft2 for 1.4.6 just so you know there NOT compatible with each other so what you have to do is remove forestry-A-1.6.4.1 ind industrialcraft will then work

This is bullshit, these mods are meant to work together. Can you explain what is the problem?
Additionally, next time, create your own thread before hijacking somebody else's if they are not the same problem.

Title says it all. I plan on building an extremely energy-demanding power line soon with as efficient reactors at possible (i.e. EA*) with high output. Therefore, I plan on building microcycle reactors. However, I am not a very good reactor designer, so would anybody mind making one for me? It can be very expensive, but cost-efficiecy would help too.

Check out my mod advanced technologies and more+!
In 0.8 Itll have an advanced quantum helmet that will make you, your nameplate, and the armor your wearing invisiible and advanced quantum boots that will let you walk in water, and probably in 0.9 it'll have advanced quantum leggings which will create an aura around you that will damage anything within 5 blocks of you!
You can find my mod in the pending addons section

    Dear sir/madam,
You have been charged of necromancy on a month-old thread named "[Suggestion] Alternate upgrade paths beyond NanoSuit".

You are expected to be in court on the 33rd of December, 2012 at 1367 hours.
    Best regards,
    Anti-Necromancy Comittee.

IMHO, too overpowered, would basically make the Induction Furnace obsolete. It sounds like a Red Morningstar.

And it IS awsome, no, wait... It's not just awsome! It's... HAAAAYOOOOOO!!!!

    Dear sir/madam,
You have commited the heinous sin of necromancy, on the thread named "Liquid UU Matter" in the Suggestions subsection of the Industrial Craft Forums. You are required to be in court on the 32nd of December, 2012 to answer to your crimes.
    Thank you.

    First thing and foremost:

    • Welcome to the IC2 forums!
    • The leader of the team is Alblaka, and RichardG is merely his right-hand man (I think Alblaka has been busy recently, he's not been on the forums for sometime (unless there has been a coup d'etat that I missed?))
    • The canning machine has been made obsolete ever since zombie flesh and spider eyes cannot be purified through canning.

    Erm. Mining turtles anyone? ;D

This was a thread, 7 months old, necro'd by a spambot.

Anyways, these are the ways I typically arrange mining.

    • BC-Quarry with 1-2 layers of dirt/stone above it.
    • Miners (with supplement of coal mined) arranged in 9x9's.
    • Write a turtle auto-mining program.
    • Steve's Carts drill carts.
    • Railcraft tunnel bore.
    • RP2 Frame Quarry.
    • Manual mining. Using Silk Touch + Efficiency (optionally with Unbreaking) picks or GT Rockcutter (optionally with Jetpack/Gravisuite/emergency Linkbook in Mystcraft Dense Ores x1-x2 ages), and finally Fortune III picks back at base with GT Industrial Grinder.

I have no idea about Thaumcraft, but I supposed back in 1.2.5 a frame Arcane Bore + Fire lens would be great too.

    A few suggestions:

    • The new Forge-Unificator-Upgrade for machines. It stacks up to 64 regardless of the config, as its functionality depends on its stacksize. How it works is if there are n upgrades in the machine, it will produce the (n + 1)th variant of the output based on the following order:
RP2, IC2/GregTech, Thermal Expansion, Metallurgy, other mods based on alphabetical order.
So if you macerate Copper Ore with no upgrades, it will become 2 Copper Dust (IC2). With 1 upgrade with TE installed, it becomes 2 Pulverized Copper.
However, if you smelt Tin Dust with no upgrades and RP2 installed, it becomes Tin Ingots (RP2). With 1 upgrade, it becomes IC2. With 2 upgrades, if TE is installed, it will be TE Tin.
If the stack-size is greater than the number of variants of that output + 1, then it will become the GT/IC2 version.
    • Upgrade slots for your Electrical machines.

The F.U.U. (lulz) is crafted based on the following conditions. The F.U.U. recipes can be configured to easy mode (default), normal mode and hard mode. (Hard mode recipes are the same as normal mode, however they are made in a Rolling Machine if installed.)

    • If Forge Lexicon is installed,
      Easy mode recipe: 1 Forge Lexicon + 2 Copper/Tin Ingots = 16 F.U.U.
      Normal mode recipe: 1 Forge Lexicon + 4 Copper/Tin Ingots + 2 Electronic Circuits = 12 F.U.U.
Hard mode recipe: Normal mode recipe in a Rolling Machine if enabled, otherwise same recipe + 1 Lapis Lazuli.
    • Else,
      Easy mode recipe: 4 Copper/Tin/Bronze Ingots + 4 Electronic Circuits + 1 Ender Pearl Dust = 4 F.U.U.
      Normal mode recipe: 3 Brass/Bronze/Steel Ingots + 3 Advanced Circuits + 3 Ender Pearl Dust = 3 F.U.U.
Hard mode recipe: Normal mode recipe in a Rolling Machine if enabled, otherwise same recipe but with 1 Ender Eye Dust + 1 Glowstone Dust + 1 Lapis Lazuli.

The F.U.U. also has an energy cost behavior, which likewise can also be configured between 0 (0.00 EU/t) to 1600 (16.00 EU/t) There are 3 presets:

    • Preset 1 - Easy mode: 0
    • Preset 2 - Normal mode: 640
    • Preset 3 - Hard mode: 1280

EDIT 1: I suppose an RP2 version of dusts would be Nuggets, but I'm positive nobody wants to deal with groups of 9 nuggets at once.

I'm not sure whether this is intentional, but the advanced chainsaw does not draw power from the batpack to operate.

I guess it is intentional, as the Adv. Chainsaw should be a tier-2 tool, and the batpack is a tier-1 charger. Try upgrading to the Lappack or the Lapotron-pack.

Request: Have the "display HUD" setting be able to use top centre, middle left, middle right and bottom centre.

Two both of the posts above I like to say somethings. Don't say people's stuff is shit (Not when it's someone you haven't exchanged posts with on the forum and also not someone who is new (this is his/her first post). You never know how someone is feeling that day, you might even help someone who is struggling in life to decide to hurt themselves or others. Be very careful. The keyboard is mightier then the sword (that doesn't sound right somehow).), but it a little more polite, like: I think there are better ways of achieving those goals and give them a helpful place to learn, like here.

To the other post I would like to say: This section of the forum is titled Nuclear Engineering and I cannot find rules to limit someone to vanilla Industrialcraft reactors. It does not even limit you to only Minecraft. If someone would like to talk about LFTR's, I'd be happy to answer their questions or discus their views nuclear engineering as a solution to problems in the real world (helping people to get clean drinking water everywhere in the world would be a good start).

If you really want that layout of uranium and neutron reflectors, then this or this could work. I'm not saying it is optimal, but it's a start.

By looking through the suggestion forums about 99% of the posts by people with <20 posts usually end up getting flamed anyway so I thought, "Hey! Why not do with the other forums."

But anyway, to the OP, I apologize for the sudden outburst as I could not resist not responding through flaming when I saw how cost-inefficient your reator is.
