making torches go out or making glowstone dimmer needs base file modification and base file modification = big no-no
Possible way to implement would be to override default vanilla torch by creating new recipe of new torch, with exact same texture and properties, except that the torches will go out.
However, as I previously stated before -- not IC2 related, denied.
RG, thanks! Industrial Fireworks, here I come!
Hi guys, I'm alive and well. I managed to curb the apocalypse with Epic Inc.'s latest invention.
Suggestion:
There is no component in Glowstone Dust that actually glows, maybe redstone, however it is made up of components that don't seem to glow. (Silicon? Pyrite? Rubies? Ender Eyes?)
Thus, delete Gold + Redstone recipe to Glowstone Dust, however it will be replaced with
--> Glowstone Dust
where is Gold Dust, is Redstone Dust and is Phosphorus Cells (if it exists)/Forestry Phosphor.
Also configurable.
Centrifuging Glowstone Dust with the new configuration produces the ingredients back.
Meh, all I'm doing is waiting for IC2 for 146.
Anyways, it is good that the 35 s wait to download RP2 has been reduced to 20 s.
hey greg, when ic2 updates are we going to see maceratable nikolite/gems/whatever else is in redpower?
Nikolite: I don't think so, as it is not registered in the FOD (ForgeOreDict)
Others: Already doable now through the use of FOD.
Damn, ninja'd by Greg.
@Greg: [DATA_EXPUNGED]
Major Electric Engineering misconception.
Quote from "Zjarek"Display MoreIn IC2 electricity is only a buzz word for small magical dwarfs carrying nanobatteries. From every energy source or storage there is one dwarf released every tick. Size of a dwarf is determined by amount of energy they are carrying. Cables are in reality just a tunnels where they run. If a cable or machine don't provide enough space for a dwarf it will get angry and blow up.
However many dwarfs are happy to run alongside each other and will in cooperation carry any amount of energy through a cable. Big dwarf will still prefer to blow up, then to split, but he can split into smaller dwarfs in transformer. Every smaller dwarf which is produced by transformer can go to the same output tunnel.
These useful little creatures are also sometimes nicknamed packets.
In this case, your 512-EU-dwarf has been converted to four 128-EU-dwarves which will be converted to sixteen 32-EU-dwarves.
One of the main reasons ideas get shot down on this board is because people seem to think it is a general suggestion board for Minecraft. Probably about 50% of the stuff on here is barely related to IC2, and should be a whole new mod. It seems the few good ideas (like the torch gun, *wink* *nudge*) get buried in "add space" and "moar tres" suggestions. Compared to these, lightning rods are a perfectly legitimate suggestion (apart from the fact they have been suggested so many times).
In other words: NOT IC2 RELATED. You want, go ask TerraFirmaCraft or something.
And finally: REALITY? This is minecraft, where Steve can carry 44.5 tons of gold at once.
This information seems incorrect. If the item can't be charged in a batbox in order to be powered by a lithium batpack, then why does the Rockcutter get powered by it (can be powered in batbox) and the Advanced Diamond Drill not (can't be powered in batbox). The Diamond Drill (regular IC2) can be powered by lithium batpack apparently. Very confusing.
All items can only be charged by other items of the same tier or higher. What he was referring to that could be charged in the BatBox is the Li-batpack.
Tier 1 Item --> Tools: Diamond Drill, Rockcutter, etc. Battery packs: Batpack, Li-batpack. Storage devices: BatBox.
Tier 2 Item --> Tools: Mining Laser, OV Scanner, Adv. Diamond Drill, etc. Battery packs: Lapotron-pack, Lappack. Storage devices: MFE.
Tier 3 Item --> Tools: Vajra. Battery packs: Ultimate Lappack, Lapotron-batpack. Storage devices: MFSU.
Tier 4 Item --> Tools: ?. Battery packs: ?. Storage devices: AESU, IDESU
Tier 5 Item --> Tools: ?. Battery packs: ?. Storage devices Charge-O-Mat
So it's basically a crossroads cable, like the Railcraft junction rails, it acts like 3 different cables running in different directions?
Meh, I thought Al would have made it -1337-lf instead.
You remind me of this person who won't stop arguing. They're quit annoying.
Well, get used to it. This is a forum, where people debate over things. You haven't seen our resident asshole yet.
IMHO, completely useless idea. No need whatsoever in the game.
I've got a problem here, so i started making my uranium cells, but when i make the quad ones some are without a durability bar and some are with one?! The ones that are without the bar i can turn into quad, but the ones with the bar have a :1 after their id and i can't make quad cells with them. Please help me...
What, you thought you could cheat by using partly-used uranium cells to build higher level ones?
Bit confused on what you mean by Forestry Hax machines. I don't really touch forestry much but the farms.
Well the Forestry farms that can run on a single Stirling Engine? (EthoCorp Ep. 7, Etho ran a treefarm using 1 stirling engine only)/
Display MoreI was wondering what is the suggested fuel we should be using these days. let me run some down in my head.
Lava: Painful overworld, Cheap Nether
Solar: A bit cheap even the recipe being a bit more annoying its not that hard and I'm so sick of solar
Wind/Water: As far as I know this is just a waste since of the space it takes and etc. Solar was okay because of the mods that compact it.
Nuclear: This one seems to be the only semi viable one though at times not worth the EU/t or waste. You gotta really be an active miner.
This fuel generator does sound neat if it can actually run on BC fuel as well and not to taxing. Right now even with the certain mods fuel does not born that efficiently.
So I was wondering if anyone had some power production tips maybe get away from Geo/Solar and actually still be able to mass produce power.
Forestry hax machines + regular generator?
Yay for IC2 v1.111!
Although I liked IC2 v1.337 better.
You two... you two over there. Do you see the timestamp on this thread. The timestamp? It's April guys, do you live in timezone GMT-9000 or something?
