Is this an issue with the compact solar panel add on? Or IC2? What do I need to do to fix this?
Any help would be appreciated.
One of your mods is overriding IC2 1.110 API with it's outdated version of IC2 API. Delete every single /ic2/api file in each mod file except the one in IC2.
If problem persists, head to Compact Solars thread.
dead thread is dead
No need to revive it then.
Hi all. I'm really like thorium, and automatisation. And i like small count of reactors (because of automatisation) and big counts of EU (because...never mind). So i'm using this one if i have no a lot of copper input, this, if i have copper (or this to get more EU at a time) or this, if i have recourses for it.
I can't imagine how to improve efficiency of it without reduction of power output. And i think, it's can be a way for it.
What is important is Efficiency, you can set up multiple reactors with the same number of thorium cells total and you get higher output total. And did you test them all in G.L.A.D-OS?
I have been annoyed by this problem for a long time,so thank you for your post, it is really useful for me.

Smart ass spambot.
There is something funky going on with the Charge-O-Mat, GraviChestPlate and QSuit Boots. I can't explain it, but the armor pieces appear in the wrong places. And AESU's too, they for some reason can't take Lapotronic Energy Orbs.
To add to narc's words, I quoted this from the BTW forums, however, it is slightly harsher.

99% of ideas are crap. When your mom told you "there's no such thing as a bad idea", she was lying to you so you wouldn't feel stupid.
Only a small number of people here, mainly the people that have been with the mod for a very long time, and who only post suggestions once in a blue moon, have a solid understanding of what makes for a good idea for the mod.
- If you aren't absolutely 100% certain that your idea is a good one, then it isn't, and I don't want to hear it. If you have to say "I hope you like this idea", then I won't.
If I've already rejected one of your ideas, then it is in your best interest not to post another (at least for a VERY long time). You either don't have enough experience with the mod to make valid suggestions, or you're an idiot. Either way, I don't want to hear your ideas.
If you are posting ideas because you like making suggestions, or because you feel the desperate need to contribute so you can feel significant, rather than because they are actually things you really do feel a need for in the mod (and that probably covers about 90% of suggestions I receive), then stop wanking on the suggestion forums for my mod, and go find one of the many mod authors out there that are so desperate to please people, that they'll pretend that you're actually contributing something valuable by spouting drivel at them. Again, I don't want to hear your ideas.
So, in general: I don't want to hear them. Your ideas suck. If you're wondering if this post applies to you, then yes: it does.
The people that make valuable suggestions for the mod know who they are.
Remember to always put your crash reports in spoiler tags, like this: [ spoiler]<text>[/spoiler] (without the space in front of the first tag.)
And, always update to the latest version (i.e. Buildcrash 3.2.2) before reporting bugs.
I'm having a conflict with the Traincraft mod, any suggestions on how to fix it besides removing the traincraft mod?
No crash report = no fix.
Is this designed to replace Buildcraft or work alongside it?
Greg's signature says "Automation without buildcrash", and it does implement autocrafting tables and item insertion/extraction from chests, but it's missing the pipes that make buildcraft what it is. So is GregTech designed to supplant Buildcraft?
Translocator look cooler than dingy pipes and magical gold-covered pipes that speed up items floating through it.
The only thing that is not working for me is that you crash when wrenching the machines, I belive this is due to the API change.
Yeah, there's no way to fix it, AFAIK. Not sure which is the API file to delete.
I've been crashing whenever I updated Miscperipherals to 2.1 from 2.0b. I contacted RichardG about it. He told me to contact you as the GregTech mod appears to modify the uranium class somehow? Rendering it null? Here is my crash log -> http://pastebin.com/bCjheNgY.
Here is the quote from RG ->
JZTech101: i had a look at the code
appears uranium is null
i blame gregtech because gregtech overrides uranium
Not true. GregTech doesn't override Uranium, except in a previous version where it's damage value was stored in NBT.
This goes in the Addon Discussion section.
Why can't I get reactor 3 to work upside down?
That's probably due to the quirk that reactor components are processed from the top left, to the top right, row by row till the bottom right.
Error to report. The industrial electrolyzer WILL eat all stored energy in an energy storage unit (in my case MFE) if it doesn't explicitly receive the input voltage it's requesting. In my case I was attempting to electrolyze some bauxite dust with 3 other machines in-line before the electrolyzer running. I had over 400k EU stored in the MFE. The electrolyzer sucked the MFE dry and did not complete its recipe. (Long time lurker finally decided to register).
Intended. Change setting in Config File, it's called ContinuousEnergy or something like that. You should know that if you're a lurker.
So ? What does it means, what's the recipe now ? Aluminium Machine block usable as a replacement of machine block in all recipes except the one giving 8 Refined Iron Ingot ?
Edit: by mentionning Lead and Obsidian, you're not saying me you've changed the recipe of ... glass ? I guess not
He probably means Hardened Glass, ThermoCraft Thermal Expansion.
Wow! Sounds pretty neat. I'll dl it later and try it out.

Aluminium Blocks can be used as excellent building materials - mobs cannot spawn on them.
My advice is to do either one of the following:
Section I - Peat-Methane Combustion
Assuming default FTB settings (untouched) then peat will generate 4000 EU per piece.
4000 EU in a Generator takes 4000 / 10 = 400 ticks = 20 s to deplete.
Hence, you will need 1 peat supplied every 20 s.
The development of peat from bog earth is a random time; however, using a MystCraft age with a significant amount of Accelerated symbols (will cause age unstability!) will boost the speed of peat production.
To obtain Bog Earth, use Carpenters powered by water and an engine of your choice. (Possibly Electrical + sockets powered by Solar or Wind). This will require mulch. Mulch is the byproduct of moistening dirt and wheat to produce Mycelium. The Mycelium can also be used, in 2 ways:
Section II - Apiarist's Upgrade
Meddle around with bees a little and try to breed Diligent Bees. Read the spoiler to know the exact way.
What bees do you have? If you have Tropical bees - you're in luck. (However, beware, they're poisonous!) Otherwise...
To get even better bees that produce more and have other products...
Centrifuge (Forestry Centrifuge) Silky Combs (Tropical) --> Honey Drops + Silky Propolis
Centrifuge (Forestry Centrifuge) Silky Propolis --> Propolis + Silk Wisp (Can be used to make Apiarist's Clothes. When you have a full suit they negate all bee effects)
Centrifuge (Forestry Centrifuge) Stringy Combs (Industrious Branch) --> Honey Drops + Propolis.
Craft propolis, ash and peat together to get Bituminous Peat, which produces even MOAR EU.
