I actually like IHL's complexity. It's like Gregtech, but totally unobtrusive and is much cheaper. The models are much better than Greg's cubes too.

You know, this was relatively hard to code. So, like in IRL if you put a stack of some things in furnace they will be heated together. And you not sure if this is a feature or a bug?It was because vanilla furnaces are unrealistic and do one at a time
The fact it has 2 slots but most of the time you only used one is curious too, thought it could've been an output.

They're obsidian slate tools from Steamcraft 2

That was showing how ints are better than doubles anyway, we've decided strings are much better.
-
Yeah, there's no way that could ever go wrong. And you could have smilies.
-
The issue is, I can't make my batbox smile, so neither are very good. Can't EU be stored as strings?
-
Surely if the crops are added properly using the API it would be able to read them, unless the NEI plugin directly hacked into IC2 to read the crop information.
-
Doubles are way cooler than ints. That's the reason.
Demonstrate. I'm sceptical.
-
Oh trust me I have before, 20 decimal place values in geothermal generators if you connect them to BC wooden pipes with E-net bridge. Why did we ever change to doubles, the old system never had these problems?
-
Batbox into an MFE had 14 EU left. I put a battery in. It lied.
I hate doubles.
-
I tried putting seed oil into the wiremill to make fibreglass, but it refuses to go in. Is 14mb too small an amount, even if the recipe only uses 1mb? Water went in fine however.
Also, the muffle furnace processes all the items in the input stack at once, not sure if that's intentional or not.
-
All working fine again, thanks Foghrye

Remember it's KU you're converting to EU, not HU.
Would you boost the KU made per mb of steam, or boost the EU output per KU?
-
Why not turn it into a giant mutli-block heater, so you warm a steam generator using the tower, then can choose to use a stirling generator, steam setup or biogas to get power out of it and with it being scaleable, you could get buckets a tick of steam, rather than the current limit of 400mb/t.

How closely related will RS3 be to RS1? I'm considering playing with it again since it's been so long, but if the mechanics are totally different then I'll not bother.
-
Just give me a bug worth to update.
I happens with all your machines that use fluid in recipes? I'm locked out of both my testing world and survival world now
-
It wouldn't really matter that much, you're cooling down oil fractions, so as long as it's cold enough it wouldn't have any effect.
-
In truth, you can use any cold liquid you want.
Do really cold liquids have any benefit over warmer, cheaper ones? Like would Gelid Cryotheum be any better than water? -
Using an older version of Forge will apparently crash you, I presume it works ok with newer ones.
You're meant to pump normal water through the reflux thing, not distilled.
-
They definitely call the function, and it works with both Forge versions. The newer ones break logi-pipes anyway, so updating isn't an option.
