Eerm, I dont think an electric redstone engine would make sense, seeing as they can't overheat, and would draw 0,125 EU/t lol.
However the electric wooden pipe is nice. Need to see how that'd work codewise. Put the transformers upgrades on my todo list.
Yea custom electric wooden pipe will be better. Sample: 1 item per tick (or second) consumes 1 eu, 2 items - 2 eu etc... And upgrade slot for transformers in engines will be great option. I hope new version with changes comming soon

Thank you Snyke for great addon ! I have small suggestion. Can you add new engine equivalent hot redston engine (power 1 eu\t) ? It's needs for full automatics fabric. Or add electric wooden pipe with custom setup speed and power. Sample 1 item per seconds- 1 eu etc... Electric wooden pipe will be best. Fine tune for eject items very need thing for full automatic fabrics. And add slot to all engines for transformers upgrade to accept any energy source.

Hey Sentimental, I was looking through the recipes and had an idea for an item replacement in the hybrid panels. Since they have an internal buffer of 100,000 EU, maybe you could change the Lapiz Block into an energy crystal? Just a thought since lapiz is so easy to come by and the energy crystal makes a bit more sense? Just a suggestion
I refused idea to add energry crystal in recipe, because base energy crystal not stack. Iridium very power-intensive material
P.S. I hate not stacking items in recipes Because if you create many panels in same time that turns out continuous torture.
Thank you for responses. Some people say that recipe is very expensive other say is too cheap In this case i added full configurable options in config file. In my opinion now recipe is balanced, but for hard play may lower output rate in config file.
Mod updated to new IndustrialCraft 1.95 and Minecraft 1.2.5. Some small changes in UlitmateHybridPanel recipe. Added bonus recipe for DoubleStoneSlab (StoneSlab + StoneSlab = DoubleStoneSlab).

Miner have standart option to fill hole after removals of pipes, but holes after mine ore remain. In these holes spawn many monsters.If you process a big field miners many many monsters spawns underground and minecraft have big lag. Can you add option to fill all holes (in working range) ? It's reduce lag and render errors.

Practice showed that this recipe is balanced according to issued characteristics. You always have a choice what addon to use. If you think that recipe is very expensive, you can use CompactSolars. Or create own addon
With the new cost for iridium, it's completely retarded. Just to counter all the UUM, you would have to play for 105405.405 MINUTES for ONE hybrid solar panel. And ultimate solars (with the recipe that takes 1 hybrid) take 109,375 MINUTES to pay off. That's counting the cost for the hybrid solar panel, at an average rate of 288 eu/t. Kinda sucky. BTW, those are REAL WORLD MINUTES. That's 1,822.91667 HOURS, or 30.3819445 DAYS OF SOLID PLAYING. Then they start profiting. So a month on a server with chunkloaders. It's give or take a month for both, it's only 4000 minutes difference.
It's very improbable calculation. This recipe is used on my server very long time. And we don't have chunk loader ! Some users create about 35 ultimate hybrid panels within 1 month. I play very small time and can create abot 10 ultimate hybrid panels within 1 month. We not use cobblestone generator. For create first panels better use nuclear reactor. When we have 2 hybrid panel and small scrap generator (cactus farm, BC quary, forestry farms) we can create more hyrid panels with small time. More panels, more out. Production grow In a geometricalon progressi. Solars array from CPW not cheaper and require for production improbable quantity of resources. Calculate: 512 Sollar panels - 5120 Iron, 6656 copper cable ( 6656 - resin, 3328 coper), 2048 tin, 3078 redstone, 1536 coal, 1536 glass. + Transformators (64 LV, 8 MV, 1 HV). How many time and energy you will need to extract all this ?

Sorry guys for long delay with update, but i need full rewrite sources code for new IC API. Big thanks Player for support with understanding of new API. Now Advanced Solar Panels full updated ! Big changes with recipes. It's more cheaper than before it. I hope what discussion war with expensive recipes is ended now I added new ultimate hybrid solar panel with 512 output for reduce solar farms on servers. Changed internal storage of panels and optimized source code. Enjoy it
Hi guys, sorry for long delay with update, but i been very very busy. Now i wll rewrite this addon with new IC API. Some good news. Base Advanced Panel will be cheaper for craft and based with original recipe. Hybrid panel cost less. And I add new panel with output 512 eu. Big thanks CPW for Compact Solars. But craft HV and MV panels cost verrryy many resources and take long time. My craft recipe will be some cheaper and simple. I have new idea to add upgrade slots in solar panels as new machines. I want add 3 types of panels.:
1 - Advanced Panel - 8 eu day, 1 eu night
2- Hybrid Panel - 64 ue day, 8 eu night
3 - Ultimate hybrid panel - 512 eu day, 64 eu night
Each type of panels can upgrade:
First type - 1 plates for 1 eu (max 64 plates). Max upgraded output - 72 eu.
Second type - 1 plates for 4 eu (max 64 plates). Max upgraded output - 320 eu.
Third type - 1 plate for 8 eu (max 64 plates). Max upgraded output - 1024 eu.
Your opinion ?
Better if will be some example on use this API. Samples of: base generator, base machine, base storage, base cable. Examples will increase a quantity and quality mods.
