I actually enjoyed reading what RockRaiderZulu had to say.
The use is relating a videogame to something in real life.Good read Zulu, good read.

Spending all my time refueling reactors isn't my idea of a fun map TBH.

The diving helmet, (also part of the hazmat suit) is for all practical purposes a gas mask.

From wiki:
No, he has the right mod this time, Steam engines are the engine type before Combustion and after Redstone
From BC wiki: "Stirling engines (formerly referred to as steam engines) are the second tier of engine."
Okay I apologize, I didn't realize you were using the former name.

Cross compatibility with IC2 nuclear reactors and RC steam would be a nice add-on.
Pump water into reactor,
filling up coolant,
coolant heats to stream,
piped through to turbine,
condensed back to water and repeat. -
I don't believe buildcraft has steam engines, i think you're confusing buildcraft with railcraft.

Obviously a Tekkit user, please carry on good sir.

If memory serves, BTW is going to be forge compatible soon (I need a confirmation on this)
Best to wait till then in my opinion.Im sure a crossover mod will appear not too long from now.

Yes of course, also if you ever need any help with them, i can help, i like to think of myself as an advanced user. sometimes tutorials just take two people.

Yea it appears I derped, Greg is correct (Like usual).
format is: "Block id" - "Damage value" : "Ore value"
No it has nothing to do with force required to break it, it just works as a secondary definition value.
Not all blocks have a damage value.# List of valuable ores the miner should look for. Comma separated, format is id-metadata:value where value should be at least 1 to be considered by the miner
valuableOres=14:3, 15:4, 16:1, 21:3, 56:5, 73:3
This is that you should be looking for in the "IC2.cfg". -
Nice, although one criticism, you were kinda all over the place in the "How to make Beer and Rum" video.
-
Meta data can be thought of as a "Damage" value for blocks, example:
Wood: id = 17, metadata = 0 ; 17:0
birch wood: id = 17, metadata = 2 ; 17:2This is the way which mojang limited the used amount of "True" blocks.
Value is directly related to IC2, It indicates to the miner which ore to go after first. also (I believe) it factors into the readings for OV and OD scanner readings.
Vanilla block ID's can be found here: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Blocks
IC2 and other mod ID's can be found in your config. -
When using rubber boots, i was invincible, the item id was like this: rubberbootsID:-173
i don't recall the damage value of it, but it was negative, then i took a trip to the nether and when blazes did fire at me, i was burning and stuff but i didn't took any damage, until i took off the rubber bootsOn multiplayer servers damage values don't always display correctly, especially in the case of lap packs and mining lasers, the sprite simply updates when you click to take it off.

Fusion has already been denied, a lot.
If you really want fusion I suggest you use the all knowing search function and find the addon that adds it.
Hint: Its Greg'sAlso welcome to the forums.

Let us know how that turns out, i want to know how to deal with a problem like this if i ever make the same mistake you did.
-
AFAIK Singleplayer commands does not have commands for changing ores, maybe i'm wrong though.

If this was implemented It would have too include detention height as a factor, closer to the ground, more radiation. I am all for the recolored snow half block method, make it so it slows like soul sand and has poison damage. Now that we have hazmat suits this is a no brainer.
