Also in fairness not trying to bash either one. FC gets updated and seemingly cared about more. I've seen bugs and crashes stay in CoFHTweaks for months. And FC tends to work a lot better for most people from what i've seen, including myself.
Interesting, it seems one of the world gen mods I was using caused a conflict with fastcraft serverside on join. It was either wildcaves 3 or streams. I was just assuming it was Fastcraft since it has had serverside connection problems in the past, my bad.
So with Optifine and the latest test version the weird tree clipping still sometimes happens. It looks like it does it to everything though, as I've got a windmill and cable that goes through and above the trees, which is invisible too.
It does it without optifine half of the time when I've tried to find the cause. Tis annoying though and it does generate them just doesn't want them to render unless you break a block on the top layer it renders then it will show a few around it.
Thanks chocohead. Tis sad as I suspect FC and Tweaks working together would be amazing.
Ok I understand that completely, granted I do think there could be a better way but that's just my opinion. Also do you have a handy link to that issue around? Unless it was deleted(wouldn't surprise me) I can't seem to find it.
Two questions for you Player. A is there any planned compatibility between fastcraft and CoFHTweaks? And B can we get a peak at your code/why is it obfuscated?

There ya go MCPC+ currently works for 1.6.2 http://ci.md-5.net/job/MCPC-Plus/
but not for 1.6.4. As my server runs 1.6.4 we have to use vanilla forge+mc server for now .
Yes there are multiple ways make them but the new "normal" recipes now are not balanced at all for the output you get, speed if it a machine, and you also have to fuel it in some cases.
Point being though yea you only have to cook it up once but you use triple the iron in the process. And also iron is more rare than coal as well by far. Also you can't really go back anymore since all the mods are updating to the 2.0 API.
Not its more than just plates. If it was just plates I wouldn't mind quite as much. Other than the fact you waste a good chunk of iron making whooping T1 energy device with little return and you also have to fuel it. Most of the other T1 items have changed as well. T2,3 is probably next. Its basically like IC2 is integrating GTech slowly.
What about the rest of the recipes? No plates are not bad but if they make the entire mod hard to get stuff like a whooping generator hard to get early on that's bad. Since it is a T1 early on power source.
Really expensive recipes is realistic yea. But you will loose a lot of people through that. I mean the generator recipe is pathetic for the power output. Most all the recipes are beyond bad for their return.
And Gregtech'd recipes?
