Okay, since no one is helping, the term 'modpacks' is used to refer to a compilation of mods created by someone to then be redistributed so that other people may play all those same mods without sorting out item id problems and such. Policy #2 I thought was pretty simple and straightforward, but When you post a vid, in the about section copy and paste what mods you use and who created them (going to blanket that statement to all mods to not be a dick) as well as the link that ic2 provides for use in giving credit. These are basically to stop things like tekkit (I just opened a can of worms if these forums are anything like they use to be a year or two ago) generating revenue through the inclusion of mods in to a mod pack and then redistributing it. Since it's only a few friends and not for public use I think you can pretty much disregard the modpack policy as you aren't distributing to the public. However, do still give credit in videos, it's just morally right.

Is anyone at all working on IC2? It's been awhile since I've been around or even played minecraft, but is anybody still working on it or is someone just converting it to work with the latest mine craft version? I've seen people using it and talking about it, but I don't see anything new.

Hey, everyone, I am back, but I have to know. Is anyone willing to let me use their MC 1.6? I haven't played minecraft for a while and was unable to get 1.6 and would very much like to play IC2. Any help would be majorly appreciated

There is (as Alblaka normally puts it) I slight misconception of the Enet going on. A single solar panel will produce 1 eu/t and that 1 eu/t is in its own packet. so 6 solar panels hooked up to 1 tin cable will not fry the cable. as its 6 packets of 1 eu/t not 6 eu/t in one packet. You need to put something down a batbox or a transformer down before it experiences cable based energy loss. Otherwise you lose the energy. So you basicly made a very exspensive (glassfibre cables OMAHGERD!) energy plant that doesn't actually give you energy due to cable based energy loss.
