now i know what you mean, thanks.

dukat: The new heating cells will heat up reactor components next to them. (For example: Coolant cells, heat switches and vents.)
The heating cell will heat the component near it to a maximum of Heatcellstack * 1000. For example: Stack 20 heat cells and it will heat the components to 20k.

Industrial Rage: Reactor output *10 => everyone using Nuclear reactors and its not even overpowered since we cannote make iron/redstone/diamonds/coal with UU.
There's a config option for reactors. Change it to meet the needs of the people.

please what?
-
pretty easy once you figured it out.
btw my record on cooling is at 656, try to beat it. (without melting heat vents of course... )
-
i did, sorry for not stating that as explicit.
-
for the part of "didnt they test that" well that is hard, cause our test build was at 20 ticks/second to test faster.... you don't really see something like that there.
-
no, this is corresponding to the new reactor mechanic where every component does his stuff before the rector moves to the next one.
It starts at the top left going right and then one line down, again from left to right. That is completly intended. -
just watched the video. nice overview you did there, nice explanation for all the stuff. Good to watch for everyone.
-
can you try to reproduce that bug and provide a crash report?
-
now thats nice to hear. id love to have more info on my reactor while testing.
-
thanks for pointing that out again, now it all makes sense
So, i see, reflectors are better than expected. But get damaged.... hmmm

one thing i don't get is, how do multiple quad cells puls between each other?
How many additional pulses will there be?
If i use 3 quad cells in an edge, i will get 260eu/t. Which corresponds to 52 pulses. But i can't really get how they pulse.... -.-'
One theory is: 16 pulses for each sell in itself (48) + 1 for each adjectant... but that would be really bad...

don't know if intended or not: you can click a storage block with the eu-meter and it will measure energy flow within it. Like measure an MFSU with the eu-meter and it will show the ammount of eu going in and/or out. (the numbers stacks. for example i get 512 going in and 512 going out i get a 1024 reading for the storage block.)
And what i think is not intended: you can click the reactorchambers to measure it with the eu meter, though the ammount will always be 0, if on or not. If you click the actual nuclear generator block it works.
Edit: Generator measuring works on all generators, but normal generators show the actual energy flow if they are delivering energy.Aaaand another bug: Component heat vents are cooling condensers, even BELOW a full bar (negative dmg number).

540 cooling, can anyone get more?
( i mean active heat venting, not single use.)
maybe its a bit overpowered that you can easly kill all excess heat of overclocked vents with adjectant component vents.
improved more:
656 cooling. (cant even generate so much heat with 3 quad cells. Those component vents are great. maybe too great....
-
now i can start to test the reactors in a better way.
Btw is it only me or does the Hazmat suit not have any texture when worn?

would be cool to get like some info about how the reactor components works... i don't really understand them... the only thing i found out, if you take a quad cell and hit 4 thick neutron reflectors around you can blow a rector on the 2nd tick. XD
-
wondering where you heard that...
-
Thats a point i can really support, killer.
