No, the point is, if you didn't place cropsticks and something grew there it's pretty obvious it's weed.
Placing crosssticks does not prevent weed from growing on an empty crop, it merely is the actual way to create new crops.
Simply memorize the weed-texture and leftclick it off the crops whenever it pops up
Since you didn't mention sticking cross-sticks into the middle spot, it's highly likely that the "had something too" was weed... which, after 13 hours for sure, destroyed the surrounding wheat crops and repspread further weed. And weed doesn't really grow to anything "mature" as in useful.
Is going to be replaced by a fully functional bugtracker within the next few days, accordingly not going to bother updating it

Shift never worked on scaffolds, so I don't mind.
I would like to underline that.
Scaffolds are NOT supposed to be the 1:1 equivalent of ladders. For that reason climbing is slower, more tricky (1pxl wide climbing space instead of ladders with 15 pxl) and you can't cling to a Scaffold by sneaking.
I would like to help you guys out and moderate the Bug Report section. I feel that my experience in whining and bitching about bugs makes me an excellent candidate to help keep our forums clean.
