Also, are they going to have smaller collision boxes rather than having the cables taking up one block with a large amount of space around it. Bit like Buildcraft pipes would be good.
Alblaka replied to this early on after 0.9 was released, saying he didn't think it was possible. When someone pointed to the fact that buildcraft pipes were fixed in 2.1.1, he replied saying he might talk to Spacetoad to see how he did it.

I need faster macerators now more than ever, with the latest contraption i built! The macerator is a HUGE holdup. I think I'm going to build like 10 of them for now, and hope we get a rotary macerator at some point :).
Chrome: Yea, I should check those out -- I only JUST recently updated RP, so haven't toyed with those items yet. Plus, I'm not much of a cosmetic builder, almost all the stuff i build is for functional purposes (Hence my square rooms....) lol :). I suck at interior design!

Last night I designed (in my head) a process to make diamonds -- Glowstone Block -> Glowstone Dust -> Redstone -> Coal -> Industrial diamond. I calculated that 4 glowstone blocks = 1 industrial diamond. Assuming you have sufficient flint (which EE turns gravel into flint) and Obsidian (Obsidian Aggregators).
I'm going to be building this machine in episode 30 :).
It's already fixed in the next release.

Yea, i figured it wasn't working when i tried to measure the current flowing through the wire with the items in the charging bench -- it read 0 eu/s.
For me, I use an MFE and LV Transformer to supply power to the miner -- works just fine :). You'll need roughly 1 million EU to get to bedrock with a maxed out miner (Crystal drill + UV Scan) - so 10 energy crystals.
You can also use an MFSU, 1 lapotron crystal should be just enough power.
Thats pretty awesome :). Mobius fuel IS a nuisance to make, and I've toyed with the idea of a buildcraft factory for it, but never one as complex as yours :).
I do like how 1 uranium = 8 Mobius fuel with the IC addon.
I don't have a dark matter locus yet (actually never did make one, always too expensive), so I don't have the need for that much mobius fuel just yet.
How much mobius does it require to duplicate a dark matter block?

I tried this addon today, and featured it in my Lets Play Episode 29!
One problem though -- it didn't appear to charge my Quantum legs / Boots. It did work on my nanosaber, jetpack, batpack, laser, etc.

Thanks for the info on the reactors -- i wasn't too sure about that. On that subject, does it have to be a water source block, or can it be running water -- I.E. -- Can I just put source blocks on the ceiling and let them 'rain down'?
I've not decided what I'll do when I'm allowed to upgrade to 1.8.1. I want to "Finish" this lets play series somehow with 1.7.3, so I guess I definitely won't be upgrading and continuing. I'm not sure what I'll do once its done though, if I want to do another lets play series or not. I feel like it'd be a bit redundant to do another lets play with the same mods, but on 1.8.1 -- not much would be new. However, if IC2 has some new machines come out, and BC has a lot of updates, and EE has a few more items -- then maybe :).
I had issues with this as well. When I was playing in my test world, with TMI, I discovered:
Use the Freq Trans on Teleporter 1, then Teleporter 2
Now teleporter 1 goes to 2.
NEXT:
Use the Freq Trans on Teleporter 2, then Teleporter 1
Now the teleporter ALSO goes from 2 to 1.
Teleporters are bugged at the moment, and if you have them linked, quit your world, and go back in without exiting minecraft, they will explode
I'll be upgrading to the Mark II-1 B at some point (probably soon). I just don't feel the NEED to play a risky game with anything higher.
I've got a small solar farm (5x 13 solar flowers), and a pretty nice Geothermal generator room that is really only optional.
Until there are more machines to use energy on, I just don't need any more than I've already got stored in my MFSUs.
Just want to note that Episode 28 features me upgrading my Nuclear Reactor, and actually making it functional. Its got 4 (out of 6) chambers at the moment, and is a Mark1 reactor design from these forums.
I plan to get up to 6 chambers soon, and go mark2.
Yea I used crafting book and liked it -- i should re-add it for my lets play series.
I am not a fan of Equivalent Exchange. Also Equivalent Exchange is only a SSP mod. I am waiting for the SMP version of IC2. I was just testing how things worked first in SSP.
Latest post on the EE forum has x3n0 talking about a server he setup at his house to test the SMP version, he promises that its coming.
Or find a mod that will show you in-game Recipes, perhaps in Book form.
Buildcraft 2.2.0 looks to have the pump work on water -- and the IC2 pump will also work on water (once fixed, right?). Water -> Compressor = Snow and then ice, i believe?
Yea, I'm using that EE addon that gives IC recipes --- Love the Copper + Tin bars = Bronze bars recipes....makes bronze way easier to make.
