A great idea regardless of the amount of lava/items are required, and adding Diamond Dust could result in other people getting new ideas involving it. New machines and what not.
Actually, only 2 tin. 1 craft takes 4 tin and produces 16 cells. It requires 8 cells. Divide 4 by 2, you get 2, not 8.

OP says nano helmet, are you talking about Nanosuit Helmet or Quantum Helmet? Quantum helmet keeps your hunger up at 9. Nano Helmet isn't supposed to do anything with hunger.
Before you add any of that other stuff, do you mind adding a simple edit to the barbed wire fence so it only damages entity.living and not entity.item or whatever the item entity is? Because it's annoying when you surround some guy in barbed wire fence and then you don't get his stuff because it gets eaten by the fence.
Also, I would suggest working on turrets as a second-priority sorta thing because they're a lot harder to code. And I would suggest using an uninsulated HV cable crafted with a fence to make electric fence.
Guess what? In 1.23, this does absolutely nothing. It does the same thing if you put a mass fab before your MFSU/MFE. 50%power goes to mass fab, 50% goes to MFSU unless mfsu is full. Then 100% goes to mass fab.

If you already have RP2 installed, theres an easier way. Water pushes mob into transposer facing water. Same thing but you can get the drop easily and it takes less stuff to make.
If I remember correctly (Since I can't check now, since SA hid their MC thread from non-members). Powercrystal coded the converter directly for the Technic pack, then released it as a stand alone add-on on the MC forums/IC forums. I could be honestly mistaken though, since it's been quite a while...
I doubt it. Power Crystals has some things that are designed specifically for IC2. And he knows quite well how terrible the technic pack is.
nice. i wonder if it will work with the technic pack. (includes a LOT OF MODS,including IC2, Buildcraft, minefactory reloaded, EE, and many more.)
That just gave me an idea- Add some code to make sure that the technic pack is not installed. If it is, set the ID of say, the Generator, to be the same ID as say, the Iron Furnace. Just so that IC2 cannot be used in the Technic Pack
Someone in the armor ideas thread suggested "Static Boots" that charge up your Batpack as you walk. Sounds like it would be similar to this mod and equally useful - especially for those of us cave dwellers who seldom see the sun!

And also upgraded static boots that are basically static boots inside of your Nanosuit/Qsuit boots.
Personally, I think all of those ideas are useless. Buildcraft and Industrialcraft allows you to use a few Induction Furnaces and Rotary Macerators (particularly with 3.0.1) to do everything, even having a chest full of bronze, then having no waste, everything being absolutely perfect. No need for hard-to-use machines that have no real way of becoming more expensive. And end up being LESS useful.
I have a suggestion-
Make an 8x as powerful one by surrounding a QSuit helmet in solar panels. And possibly a 4x as powerful one by putting a NSuit helmet in the middle, and a solar panel on top/bottom/left/right sides.
gm_construct is a surprisingly good seed. Something with buildcraft makes it have ridiculous amounts of oil (I mean RIDICULOUS) on my first time generating it, I spawned within far render distance of a Large size oil well, and a bit away was another large and like 4 medium ones. You also spawn in a small grove of rubber trees with many other rubber trees nearby. Plus, there's a badass overhang about 300 blocks from the spawn.

What's the weird black stuff in the corners of the void generator recipe? Also, the void generator produces about 102.4eu/t. Out if thin air. That's more than the average mk5 reactor, which uses fuel.
My recent idea was only allowing reactors to power mass fabs.
That would be ridiculously hard to code, and make mass fabs useless. If you have to spend uranium to get uum, then the entire mass fab is now pointless. The whole point is so you have something to do with your excess energy.

I would use this mod, except it has that 1 recipe. That breaks the whole thing, as it upsets the balance of industrialcraft.
I have another idea- The PANELS burn out (the ones on the top) and you have to right click on the solar panel with coal dust.. The panels would have a 1/8 chance to burn out every time it switches from night to day.
T3 machines... NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! This will remove ANY chance of this ever becoming an official thing. And also remove most of the users.
Can you add an option to disable the fusion reactor? It's ridiculously overpowered, and I don't want anybody on my server to be using it. That is, once this becomes SMP.
