That is your problem. IC2 exp is for 1.7.10 You need to install that version of MC and that version of forge.

I am unsure, I usually play the most recent version, I even have the most recent version of Forge, but I still can't figure out how to get it(Industrialcraft2) to work
You can see what version you are using in the lower right corner of the launcher.
Are you playing on a server? If you´re not, I think you could just exchange the GT version in your mod folder.
The titanium rotor should work good for you. If a better rotor and a buffered steam supply won´t work, only updating will help you.
I really don´t want to search through the GT5u thread to find what pyure said about that, you can do that if you want to.
I think titanium or stainless steel would do a good job. Iridium would also be good (if you have that), the best one you could use is tungstensteel (if you upgraded your EBF with the best heating coils.
The damage is applied every 3000 ticks, you get 80damage per 3000ticks.
For tanks, you could use railcraft tanks. Attach a electric pump as a cover to a side of a gregtech pipe, set it to Import (rightclicking with screwdriver). Then place the output side of the tank next to it.
No, the turbines takes every 3000 ticks 20% of the generated Eu/t as damage. I have a large plasma generator running perfectly. You should try to put a really good turbine in it, something like tungstensteel or neutronium (try it in creative), and build a tank as a buffer for the steam between the boilers and the turbine.
The turbines and the large heat exchanger was overhauled in 5.08.27. You could try using something with a higher durability, a steel turbine or something like that. Otherwise, updating will be the only solution.
Your setup looks good. However, what Turbine Rotor do you use? What material, what size? Are you using the version 5.08.27?
The amount of consumed steams depends on what turbine item (rotor) you are using. Could you also post a screenshot of your turbine? You should also use the right dynamo hatch. If you input 1600 L/t the turbine puts out around 800 EU/t (depends on the rotor), you need an EV hatch.
where can i find how much heat i have in HP steam ovens and how much steam it produces would be useful too to find the right pipe...
any links out there ?
Heat is displayed as a red bar in the GUI of boilers, everything else is here: http://ftb.gamepedia.com/GregTech_5_Unofficial
So I've been trying to use the Large Steam Turbine, and I can't get it to work. It says in the turbine GUI that it's running perfectly, but it will not consume steam nor produce any power. I have a duct taped maintenance hatch and a stainless steal output hatch on the left side, two stainless steel input hatches on the right side, and a HV dynamo hatch on the back. It is facing south, and assembles fine. I'm running it with a Thaumium Turbine. I filled both input hatches with steam from a large steal boiler, but it won't consume the steam nor produce power. I've played around with it quite a bit, swapping things out, but to no avail. Anyone have a solution for this?
Also I'm using version 5.08.25
Thaumium turbines optimal flow is 24.000L/s or 1200L/t. 1200L/t / 2 *1.05Effiency = 630 Eu/t. That is not HV, it is EV, so you have to use an EV Dynamo Hatch.
I would also recommend to use the large turbines, if you can afford them. Large Thaumium turbine produces 1170 Eu/t, but with better efficency.
Mods should be either added as libs or in the modfolder, not both.
Also i'm not sure if i uploaded the API.jar again after i last changes it. So i will take a short look at that.
This time I only added the mods in the modfolder, not as libs. Doesn´t work. Maybe you really forgot to upload the change API.jar?
You need to place the pump IN the pool. Everything you need to do is moving the pump one block down.
Me again....
Sorry to go off topic but this fusion reactor just doesnt work. I just made one in Gregtech 4.08 and it works fine. I made it the same way in your unofficial version and no go. Materials are not the same, for example injectors and extractors. Can anyone just tell me if its possible to even get it to work? I don't need to know how just if anyone has done it on this version.
It works perfectly.
Replase the fusion coils with superconducting coils, the fusion casings with Luv Casings. Instead of injetor and extractor use input and output hatches. Energy Injectors are replaced with energy hatches. All hatches have to be Luv. I think that one input hatch has to be at the top layer, the other at the bottom layer. Then place the controller and it will work.
And there is a wiki for GT5u
Display MoreHi all,
Wondering if you can help me figure out why my fusion reactor says structure incomplete.
Been following these instructions
http://ftb.gamepedia.com/Fusion_(GregTech_5_Unofficial)
This is what i have
https://i.imgur.com/1TyAjTU.jpg
note: in the middle you cant see, but i have set up the superconductor coils correct as per wiki
As you can see, the hatches all change texture to signify (what i believe) that it is correct.
I have even used LUV input and output hatches! (do these even need to be LuV?)
I have also tried importing power into the LuV hatches, but the fusion computer still stays at 0%
Any ideas?
You should replace your inputs. One input has to be at the top layer, while the other input has to be at the bottom layer, directly under the first input,
