there is, you simply put a storage chest next to the reactor with a pump and compressors next to it and make your ice then pile it into the chest, then manually feed it in. IC2 is not focused on automated function and CASUC Reactors weren't originally intended i'm sure.
if CASUC was not intended, then why add single use coolants anyway? -.-
if there are single's, why not design an system that continously pumps them in
CASUC is safe, if u know what ur doing
seems like the coders are having one hell of an time (if they like fixing bugs)

in my opinion the melon idea seems reasonable, only adjust this to use Lemons, an new fruit (also edible) grown by crossbreeding some unknown plants.
since lemon was already used in so called "ancient battery's" it uses an reaction between 2 copper plates inside of the lemon, creating energy. an little bit of it.

absolutely nothing until the hull reaches 75% heat these kick in and start acting like cooling cells but are 5 times more effective and will continue to cool the reactor till it reaches 50% heat then the metal solidifies and the molten cooling cells shut down

sounds good... maybe usefull as an backup coolant in some more "fragile" reactors
ive got an small addition to this:
upgraded version of the heat distributor, at an high price.
it wil use:
1 heat dis
3 coolant cells
3 advanced circ's
2 reactor platings.
what does it do? do the work of the heat dis much more efficient, rather then doing adjacent components it regulates all components withing 2 blocks away of the dis.
not sure how much heat it would be able to dis thou..

overal impresion so far:
balance seems an bit off on effectivenes of individual coolants, heater seems fine to me.
i rarely use this in my reactors thou, i prefer open cold Force feeded ice reactors. never blew up on me before, and probably never wil.
the reactor containment field:
verry nice, i tested this with an full load of uranium inside. blocked the blast verry wel,
on the other hand, i did notice an few pieces of dirt being blown up by the blast.

there are diamonds veins, i assure you of it only verry rare and mostly 50-60 diamonds per vein.

when you do feel the need fore more power, take an look at the video's in my signature, they feature ice CASUC reactors. (continuasly aplied single use coolants)

AND, i've found out that explosive shot is useful for... Tree harvest! You can use it to blow up those huge trees, and this mode doesn't set them on fire!
also using mine to do just that also with normal trees, aim.... hit the top. aim...hit the top again. BOOM tree's gone.
giant rubber tree's? FIRE AT WIL i usualy empty the lap pack within one minute during this obscene crazy fire mode.. and usualy destroy the landscape along with the tree haha

simple put, imposible.
eff 3+ generates to much heat to cool, it wil melt before it finishes an cycle.
and if you had it switched off during an day while doing some nice construction, creeper comes up BOOOM! god damn creepers....
