Haha this is really thing many people were looking for. CASUC for dummies. Nice.

result is rounded to nearest value, 0.49 is 0
0.51 is 1How come you can put 39 glass fibre cables without loss ? It's 39*0.025 = 0.975. According to you RESULT - 0.975 should be rounded to RESULT -1.

can you post your reactor design ?
use this http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…=1p10101001501521s1r11r10 -
I think it's impossible to deweed crops. Also
QuoteCropnalyzers aren't actually needed if you already know what combos make what. This is good because this machine will not be able to work them.
Not that easy.
harvesting crops only when fully grow is easy, since rightclick only works on fully grown crops. Using timer does the job well i think.

Another question though... how should a reactor explode without any uranium inside?
It just can't. By apllying extenal heating you can get 0.0 excess heat max ! You have to apply internal heating (lava buckets, uranium) to melt reactor.

this happened to me when i added myself fuel can with TMI

result is rounded UP i think

I resently installed IC2 and recipe book BUT recipe book didn't have the IC2 recipes instead it had like 50 blank pages which i assume were for IC2 recipes but the recipes dont show! So i thought of why not a IC2 included ingame recipe list to replace recipe book it only has IC2 recipes and the format is like this it will look like a black book and when right clicked it will open a list the list shows ALL crafting recipes and you can scroll down using the scroll down bar thingy theres also a next page this page has ALL furnace recipes extractor recipes macerators recipes etc. it is crafted by putting 1 rubber and 1 book and maybe the websites starting guide can be in the third page I hope you see this Alblaka.

I found that when crossing you can't use diagonal patterns.
For example:
(rubber wood = plants, and trampoline = crossing field) (Canning machines are just empty)
I had a pair of reeds setup like that, and only weed came out of it.
Yes, we already know that. I should write about it in the first post.

I'd like to know the answer to this as well... as that alone would motivate me into making such explosive investments in energy, lol...
Components have to be in reactor to cool down. My tests say so.
-
I know they do that. I was asking if they also split EU packets, since a lot of people seem to use them for that even though it's not documented anywhere, and I was wondering if I was missing something or they're just misunderstanding it.
Of course it can be used to split current. With proper RS wiring.

Did I just create a new subtype of breeder?
Well, never heard of this before.
-
it's a great idea until you want to run another cycle. Then it explodes. Honestly the best breeders are the ones you just dump 5 lava buckets into and let em sit for their cycle.
Components will heat during cycle and components will cool after cycle. Only hull keeps its heat. So after some cooldown, you can run your breeder again.
-
I'm starting to think it's great idea ! I think i'll build one too.
-
Ok ok, now i think i got this. YES, it is reactor planner (bug). Probably.
When you set hull to 9000, it will set hull AND all components to 9000, which is bad, BUT in game it probably works.
ALSO i made your design slightly cheaper http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…=1010101201501521s1r11r10
Edit: Failed hard with link. Fixed. -
how about this ? http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…=1c10101001501521s1r11r19 It is possible, isnt it ?
and this ? http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…=1l10101001501521s1r11r19
Edit: ah.. now i see you want to make it stay hot when its empty -
So i have 4 roses and 4 flowers in my hand but no matter how hard i click, stupid plant doesnt want to get planted. Is there anything else i need to do to plant those?
It may need light, nutrition, hydration. Have you tried fertilizing empty cropsticks before planting ?
-
Nope, you are quite right.
Using 17 overclockers makes most machines run a cycle in one tick. This is not that usefull for a furnace, but nice for compressor and macerator. This takes about 2000 EU/t (so you need 4 MFSU to power the machine^^), but only on tick per item. So since the macerator uses 625 EU normally (maybe even 30% more, no idea), it's only 3 times as expensive. But you would need some storage-upgrades if you don't want to power every machine used this way with 4 MFSU.
Since I guess the wiki-data refers to the old numbers increasing the operation length by 30% while keeping the EU/t ratio should increase the energy per cycle by 30% meaning Macerator and Compressor need 813 EU not 625, which makes the 17 overclockers even more interesting.
Macerator still works on redstone. Macerator before required 1 redstone to process 1 item. Macerator now does the same. One redstone put to batbox provides 500EU. How is that possible ?

Please post newly discovered plants here http://forum.industrial-craft.…page=Thread&threadID=4004.
I'd also like to know how does Aurelia look like and what does it drop. Thanks. -
I'm not sure about the reactor planner that you're using. I re-did your design in the usual one, here: http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…=1j10101001501521s1r11r10 and it gives slightly different numbers.* The usual also provides a bunch of helpful nuggets of info.
So this is going to give you 1180 EU/t instantaneous but require a lot of downtime to stop it going boom. By my calculations, you can only run this baby for 1 second in 30 or it'll go boom. It certainly doesn't look like the kind of design that'll run at 50% (compare the uranium vs components ration in the one in my signature). You may also care to install the themometer mod though I think you need to seriously reconsider the design.
One final note, if you're running on SMP then be careful with network lag as it can cause problems. I once set up 8 reactors running on a 1:17 duty cycle. Rock solid in single player testing but had two melt downs before I said stuff it and went to a 50% design
*Taking a closer look at that planner, it lists 31 external cooling which is a physical impossibility. Only the spaces in a 3x3 grid around the actual reactor core are counted for cooling. In a +4 chamber reactor, you thus have 22 water blocks present, not 31. Also the EU/t is dramatically different. I suggest you use the one on TalonFire
http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…=1m10101001501521s1r11r10 correct linkAt your cooling: You are right but also you aren't. You forgot to add 4 chambers and reatcor itself which gives you 22 + 4*2 +1 = 31.
At that design: If you are not going to make CASUC out of it, I think it's useless. It has very low effective output and is very dangerous.
