I personally agree with the top poster; I have had sounds still go on when I save and quit to title and am on the main menu screen!
I can't update though; Not until BioDiamonds and Iron Chest are updated!

I personally love this map. First thing I did though was replace the machines upstairs with the advanced machines addon versions.
I spent pretty much all of one day making a whole new room to create a room that does this:
infinite cobble generator set up with quarry -> rotary macerator -> induction furnace -> auto crafting table making glass panes -> chest for backlog(there is a LOT of glass made) -> recyclers
The products warp to a mass fabricator or a scrapbox maker. Depends on what I want.One problem I've found with this though:

EDIT: Idea! If I used MCEdit to delete the area outside the flatmap, will it regenerate with oil deposits? -

Why not just do:
20 solar panels -> IC to BC power converter -> energy pipes -> energy teleport pipe -> other end of teleport pipe -> BC to IC converter -> MFSU
This could be a cool system to bring power over long distances with only a little loss! requires the ic/bc crossover and additional pipes though. -
I get so much cobble (and dirt) from quarries that I just feed it in raw. If you're using straight IC with no mods, macerate the cobble to sand, make glass, then make panes. You'll get 70% more scrap for doing so.

Direwolf, I have a question. I notice that when you open chests, they automatically sort themselves, and that i think you can shift click into crafting tables. What mod does this?
Otherwise, your channel is the second best thing out there, second only to Etho, who you can't even get close to competing with. -
Spriter needed: Find a creative way to put 8 or 9 solar panels in a single helmet top. Look at the armor folder on the mod's zip file.
I think a cool idea would be to put solar panels on the sides and back. Also once your SMP problem is resolved THAT MOD IS ON OUR SERVER!!!!
EDIT: ...I had an idea.
Pants that slowly accumulate dust as you mine, and the dust combines to combine scrap. Not very much scrap, but enough that you get 2 or 3 at the end of a mining trip.
Who likes this idea? BTW I know the 'dust idea' is already mentioned in the Advanced Machine discussion, but who cares? It's a good idea! -
Question: I haven't taken the time to read the whole discussion, but when will you be able to open iron/gold/diamond chests with blocks on top of them?
I am a modder, and its sounds simple to change; just remove the bit of code that checks if there is a block above before opening.
If it is coming in the next update, please say so.
EDIT: BTW I use your mod on my server, its awesome! I'd just like to be able to stack chests on top of one another. -
May I suggest surrounding Diamond chests with IRIDIUM to get a chest with the same space as a diamond chest but with a password?

Hi there cpw! First of all I want to thank you for the time invested in the game. I love the minecraft community because of people like you.
I want to ask you for a starting guide do modding minecraft. I feel that I can contribute to the wonderful community but don't know where to start from. My programming skills can be rated as borderline absent but I am a fast learned and self taught "genius" :).... I just need a nudge.

I tried this and got 1 lava cell. And the whole thing refused to do anything after that. The miner and pump was powered and had everything needed to work. And had a chest next to both of them. I tried using the adv. miner and the normal one and I even added the ID into the valuable ore area. Nothing.
Have you tried TWO pumps?
Its currently a bug, where you have to have two working, one is idle but making sure the other one runs. It involves the fact that the miner is faster than the pump, and the pump can't keep up. -
I'm still working on SMP, however OnTickInGame is not triggering for me on the server side - I tried asking #risucraft but no response... any ideas?
